Looking great toaster. This is gonna be a nice show. Are you still running LEDs?

Hey Demon!

Thank you and sure hope so. Yes same old light. Nothing new except for the environment. Moved from bedroom to basement and am heaving some issues with temps at lights out. Well, had actually as I sorted that out.

Awesome man, I think I'm gonna hop on the LED train too this grow but my lazy ass is gonna just buy a couple fixtures from PLC. Wishin you a heavy, stanky, dank harvest. I'm gonna follow along and enjoy the show.

Changing to LED will change your grow stile a bit probably but once you get it dialed in you'll be asking yourself why didn't you switch earlier.

Thanks for the good wishes man. Hoping for a smooth ride myself.

Right on man. When you switched what did you end up having to adjust nute wise? I'm going to have a good bit of cobs running to really push the amount of quality light they get. I'm thinking at least 18 but if my funds come together properly might end up with 24 in the flower space (10'x13')

I never grew under anything else but LED so can't really give any advice on that. But I imagine you'll have less trouble keeping your canopy temperatures at bay since LEDs dont put out much radiant heat in IR range like HPS for example. Also light distribution is much more even than that from a single light source. You'll have to see for yourself to relly know the difference.

imo run higher temps with the cobs.
my flower running 82°f and rh 75. day 68 50 night, im just dropping both as im in flush now.
seem to like it,
wen i put the temps and rh up i did notice the difference in growth!

Thanks guys! Definitely some useful information. My #2 reason for switching was definitely less radiant heat from the light source , with quality of light and park value being biggest priority.

I'm running 68-72°F lights on and about 60-66°F lights off. At light off their feet are at about 82°F so I'm not getting any ill effects from lower ambient temps. On my last run I couldn't keep up with their demands regarding feeding. They turned into hogs.

thats wat the higher rh is about.
ill see if i can find the study again....nutrient uptake/availability at different rh levels. interesting read:badboy:

takes the stress away, having to be there at certain times everyday bites

Jeezuz H. Cripes! 7 feeds a day!? Definitely gonna watch my babies like a hawk once they get under those badass COBS. Are you in soil @bicky studs ?
