Topping first week of 12/12?

Hi ya'll I was wondering if I could top a plant during the 1st week of flower cycle, without harming the plant? Thanx in advance for advice.

I top a few times once plants are established, but never in flower. However, I read someone here who topped all the way through stretch.

I was tryin to use the search engine but couldn't find anything related to what I typed in.

Yeah Im sure its better just to LST but I was curious about it.
