Transplanting HELP

I decided to plant my seedling into a 1 gallon pot at the begging but 13 days in I wanted to move it to a smaller container so there was less of a root ball when I put it into it final pot. As I was placing it into the solo cup I think I may have lost some roots is my plant going to be ok?

I decided to plant my seedling into a 1 gallon pot at the begging but 13 days in I wanted to move it to a smaller container so there was less of a root ball when I put it into it final pot. As I was placing it into the solo cup I think I may have lost some roots is my plant going to be ok?

It will be ok. It may be I shock for a day or two. But they can take some root damage. It's best to transplant as few times as possible, but it won't kill it.
