From what I'm seeing you've got weeks yet. The buds will fill in and fatten up. Then the stigmas will brown and shrivel. When the majority of them are brown and dried up then you may start seeing amber trichs show up. So you've got some time yet from what I can see.

im just jumping the gun... and i was calling the stigmas trichomes....

but what im hearing is my buds will get bigger! and that will be worth the wait

so i have pulled 3 mushrooms out of the toute since rewatering after the diamatios earth.... my only conclusion is the organic soil was contaminated....
so didnt water it yesterday and im not watering her today letting the top dry out...

thinking watering her less... from every other day to maybe every 4th or 5th day

on the plus side got my second grow light!!!

after afew attempts its set up properly and the right height to be turned on in the morning.

How many orange triomes indicate buds are ready. The whole top of the plant has em dont see much elsewhere

Most seem to pick 30% of the visible trics turning.

I think it varies by strain and grower preference.

gotcha... dont think its 30% yet but most of the pistales are orange

Ok first do not use a sugar leaf to check trics. They are the first to sugar up.
Try to find a bract or a clump of them. Plump bracts indicate a plant closet to finish in most strains.

I stopped basing information on the plant from grow lights.
I started taking them out and using an incandescent white light bulb.
It's like a different plant. The spectrum of the panel I used gave a false color to the leafs and everything.

some time before jan 12th is when it went into flowering

at least close to a month in flowering dec 23rd first sign of white pistals

week 7-8 based on a picture i say the white hairs on dec 13th
so if you do

"11–12 weeks from sprouting." from queen rayal seeds
im on week 12 if i counting right from nov 1st to now.
