the one good thing for me is that im cubing a certain pheno ..........most try and cube an uber freak cut but have to use something else for the first cross......while im just basically using pollen to start with from the same strain........

Nice work Bro. I miss my True Blue pheno, it was the best yielding strain I have had and a great all day smoke too. Here are some pics

It took 5 beans to find that one. Actually both females out of the five seeds(3 were males) were just like that, almost identical.

Too bad I lost her:( . Makes me mad everytime I think about it. She was a producer for sure, I got about 9-10 OZ off each plant and they were only grown under 400W. That cola weighed btween 5-6 oz alone. I will definately get some more beans to run through in the near future though.

this is one of strains that really didnt get its due..........think the standard blue got all the play
this one is way more sativa with potential for big yield if u find a killer pheno
my bx should be interesting if it takes.........otherwise ill have to do another whole plant

I don't want to piss on your parade but making an IBL just isn't that simple. Sounds like you don't know what traits the male is hetero and homozygous for. Until you know that your bunched.
What I'm saying is the male your using could and most probably will totally change the expression of traits from your 'crinkle cut' in future generations.
you will end up with a more homogenous filial line but not for the traits your looking for.
Making an IBL takes YEARS thats why there are so few of them. Also many of the true breeders out there don't have an enormous amount of time for cubing if any at all.
The cannabis community in general totally ignores the roll the male plays, concentrating almost exclusively on the female. That is fine for smoking but a disaster for breeding.
Just trying to be constructive.

Ok ill bring this up again, The TBB is considered true breading, Ive read in more than one place DJ short saying this is a ibl and he worked years on this. Your really messing with something is already done. Its best used for crossing to other plants and you will get nice crosses if you need more yield. If you really want to get the crinkle cut leaf bread into it Ill send you some beans, Im getting mostly crinkle leaves, about half grew out of it already, but 5 out 10 still show it big time at 5 nodes.

I wasn't aware TB was truebreeding. If indeed it is then your project could indeed bear some interesting fruit.
The best of luck

I'd have to agree with purpleberry, dj pretty much squares away all his plants to perfection before he releases them. i would use it for breeding. Hope this helps out. Take it easy man
