Dude, you really think that thing is gonna produce an ounce under those little cfl's he's got going? I don't see it happening.
You do realize that 2700k is just color temperature, right? At least it's the right temp for flowering but... You should grab yourself a small led light to grow with, do a little research before you buy and you can get something pretty cheap that will give you much better results than those little cfl's. It wouldn't take a very big led to be a big improvement over those.
Not trying to be a dick, those lights aren't gonna do shit for you though. It's a lot of time and effort to end up with virtually nothing. You'd need a hell of a lot more cfl's and at higher wattages to produce anything worth bothering with.

Wanted to ask if anybody can recommend a half decent led for £150
I'm at the end of my first attempt with a mars 300w but feel if I upgraded i would do sufficiently better even though I'm happy with what I done So far ...oh and I'm not that good at diy lol

Looking good pal iv just getting 2 cheap 1200w for £110 for the pair off ebay and seem to be working fine these are only in the 3rd week of flower i run 3 1200w leds all together

They look sweet ......i only got a 80x80x160 tent so I'm limited on wattage and heat .... especially in this weather

Im in a 150x150x180 and my temp is never over 26c i had to take my hps out because of heat thats why im using led now lol but good work on your last run your buds look spot on what did u pull and off how many plants if you dont mind me asking

No really no as my house is like an oven constantly lol so would prefer to stick with led ....my tent at the moment is the coolest place to be with all the fans I got

Nope they were up for £63 each or best offer (new) so i offered £100 for 2 and the seller came back with £110 i didnt know how quick to buy them lol i think i payed about £70ish for my other 1200w how duz the saying go "god loves a tryer" lol

There probably not 1200w i think there 3w chips
al put some more up later after iv fed them these are from last week i know there just cheap Chinese things but they seem to be working fine for me

These are them or something very similar. I have two of these and another i paid about £70ish for i run a 600w one in my grow box aswell for my autos and seedlings and that works fine aswell

I thought years ago i had stumbled onto a gem when i found SELF BALLASTING 400w mh bulbs for £15 each i was new at that point, and looking back i remember them working... how well i cant say!

I swoped my hps 4 the 2 extra leds because of the heat my tent was 34c+ so i got the leds i might swop back in the winter but if this run turns out ok i might just stick with the leds this is my first run with just led
