If it was simply a moisture content issue the various "curing machines" wouldn't produce lackluster product most people slam dispensaries for. So that's pretty obviously not it. Glass is made from silicates which are weirdly also present in many natural curing methods and locations like cheese and wine caves. Cedar and sand somehow keep pairing up to cure and preserve other things.
I wouldn't dismiss the glass like that. But you don't want to think about it, ok.
