Read your post and then fumbled my bong a few hours later (yesterday morning)..

Just to be clear......I think annealing is what they call it when you make things out of metal.
Btw... Its not a "silk screened" logo...The correct term is "bake on" sticker and it should be just fine... so long as it not near the broken joint.
The stickers are applied and the the entire piece is put in the kiln and brought up to 1050 degrees for a couple hours... Hence the term "bake on" stickers....
