Using Bone Meals In Teas??any Info

Wondering about using fishbone meal in my compost teas, I'm curious if anyone has results,thanks for any info!!!

I wouldnt use bone meal in a tea. I think that stuff takes a long time to breakdown before the plant can even use it.

I wouldn't. Bone meal is amended into your soil. Alfalfa however is a great additive for your tea.

I was wondering the same. High Ca and P would top off my teas nicely. I don't see why not?

Use fish bone meal in your soil mix only a small amount a little goes a long way .

Is the alfalfa for veg tea or flower?

Alfalfa is high in N so it is great for veg maybe in smaller amounts for flower because there is lots of good stuff in there besides the nitrogen. I put a bunch of Alfalfa pellets and some blood meal in my compost pile.

Here is some good info about Alfalfa, I use pellets. I can get a 40 lb bag at the feed store a lot cheaper than buying meal at a garden shop. Just check out whats in it, especially if your 100% organic. http://learningandyearning.com/10-benefits-of-using-alfalfa-in-your-garden
