The OP said you could get them at your local Home Depot.

Either way these shears seem very interesting. I understand they would be crappy for manicuring because of the lack of precision but I could see them possibly saving some time on trimming fan leaves and such. I think I'm going to get one of those and try it out. Hell if it works out this could really save me a lot of time trimming by myself.

I found this online the other day when I was looking at the bonsai electric scissors. I bought a pair at home depot for 30bucks and helped my boy trim up his mango haze that he took down. These things work amazing for the rough trim, taking the fans off and the long bud leaves. You just run it up the branch like a pair of hair clippers. I am hooked now, and they are cordless!
