Reason for veg time is I’m wanting to flower more plants in a quicker time but with limited space need a shorter veg with more plants. I don’t see anything wrong with more plants especially when I can do them all in one 55 gal hdx tote for dwc. Have you tried the Giesel Cookies from this forum?

I have not however they sound pretty awesome. That and bubba cookies are both strains i'd like to try someday.

Here’s a Cookies N Cream that’s at 56 days. A couple more and she’ll come down. This is the sister of the male I used for the UZI Cookies cross. The UZI Cookies I’m growing out are leaning a bit more toward CnC than AK47. But it’s too early to tell what traits were passed down.

I transplanted the UZI Cookies seedlings and they are adjusting to their new homes so the action has slowed the last 24-48 hours. They were actually transplanted twice so they went through a little more stress than usual. But I’ll have more pics of them here shortly.

Here we are. Humming along nicely. They’ve taken well to their new homes. Not sure how far they are I’m guessing day 21 or 22 from seed. Give it take a day or two.

Sorry just looked it up day 25. My bad.

On a side note I’ve got two Cali-Os that look ready on day 44/60. Shitty thing is I don’t have anything ready to go in their place yet. Still about a week out on their replacements. Doh. Didn’t think they’d finish this quickly. So my AK47 was done on day 47/60 I chopped her at day 51. My Cookies n Cream was done on day 57 of 60 and really I could have taken her down a week ago. And my two Cali-Os both put into flowering on the same day are ready at day 44.

I am really digging the 11/13 photoperiod and Emerson Effect lights. That’s a whole nother run every 4 runs or almost an extra two runs per year.

Sure enough mostly cloudy trics with a few clear and a few amber. Gonna let them go another day or two. It’s a fairly euphoric strain so a couple more days will help calm them down a little.

Ok my math is off. I hate counting days on the calendar. It’s day 42 not day 44. I put them into flowering on Jan 1 this year. Fuckin crazy quick.

What you talkin about willis......just jokes...

Im keen to know a little more on the cali O ...what breeder sells the lightening beans bud..

Cheers max

These are by seedman. Their own house brand. They were cheap as hell and are feminized. I had some selfed Cali-O beans back in the mid 2000s and loved the strain. These are very similar to those. Both seeds were selfed from the original cut so it stands to reason they’d be nearly identical genetically.

On a side note I do also have the Dutch Passion version called Californian Orange. I haven’t grown them yet though. I bought them in case the Seedsman version didn’t work out. I popped two of them and selected one before flowering because she outgrew the other and seemed to take well to the environment. The other was a bit of a runt. Normally I wouldn’t do this as I like to see what runts have to offer but I was low on space and had to make a choice. So I chose the more robust growing one and grew it out. This is my second round with it and the first round turned out great. Rock hard nugs that are heavy. A 1/2 oz looks like a 1/4. But she has the trademark orange terps and uplifting high I was after. The quick finish was just an added bonus.

Sectioned off a little drying area in the veg portion of the rack. I have plenty of space and this seems to be working quite well. It keeps the light out, allows for a little air flow to get to the drying buds but not too much air that they dry out quickly and it blocks the light from coming through.

I used corrugated plastic like they make yard signs out of. $2.99/sheet at the local hardware store. I bought white and black. I’ve got black on the backside to keep light from coming through and white on the front side to reflect light back on nearby plants. It’s attached to the T5 reflector hood via magnet strips so it can be removed easily when not in use or for easy access.

It doesn’t block out 100% of the light from the T5s but I’d say it blocks out a good 80% of it. Temps stay about 75-80 degrees and RH is usually at about 50-55%.

Solo cup root game. This is a rooted cutting of the male used in the UZI Cookies hybrid. I think I’m going to go ahead and flower him out to collect more pollen to toss.

Might throw him on the Cali-O S1 female I’ve got going and see what we get.
