there are many pro and cons.

The biggest pro for a vape is that its super healthy, unlike glass or pipe were your burning the plant matter, chlorophyll, butane..etc. a vape heats up to the right temperature to only activate and burn the trichomes off, so your only smoking what gets you "high" and not all the plant matter. It truly is a different hit, mellow, smooth, and minimal smoke it sneaks up and is more suddle a nice lifted feeling, alot of people who switch to just vapes will find there lungs thanking them!

Cons of a vape, are minimal. The biggest problem with vapes is the setup time... turn the vape on pack and bowl... and wait 5-10min while it heats up to operating temp. in that time alone i usually pull a glass piece off the wall and pack a bowl, waiting is so offputting :D

Personally i love vapes and they are awesome, but there is a time a place for it. kinda like a special moment kinda thing.
