Over 55% RH in flower is dodgy, circulation fan helps.

Wow, so much room & brand new!! That's looking great, homestyle,
Im in the same boat I lived in Arlington VA I lived and grew in Arlington VA in 2010 to 2013 and a little in 2016 but Im living in DC and just starting back again but just a cross the river so I know the outdoor climate here and have experience both indoor and out also grew some in the 90s until I got busted indoors. So I'm still a little apprehensive about posting stuff .But can give advice.

There are autos but a “few” are photo. Highly regarded; Hash Burger, Blue Dream, White Widow and Durban Poison. My first. I care much in my growing of anything. Cannabis for medical and relaxing fun.
The all those strains are awesome I don't know which ones are auto but the Durban Poison is supposed to be early anyway I believe 8 week sativa grows like indica but sativa high.. mendo 20/20 has a superwreck it's a early Trainwreck if you want something early and it's the arcata cut so sure to be fire .if that's regular photo blue dream don't expect it to be ready it' usually goes at least 10 weeks flower .I grew outdoors DNA purple Trainwreck and it was ready by September 15 . also clone mature a week earlier than seeds

Thank you so very much for all that! Great info and kindly given. You’re another great friend! I just posted a “hack” this a.m. you might like.

When so new and parenting this crop, I must be annoying. I’m sorry. It’s been raining and 90% or + humidity outdoors. Odd days indeed cause a few ago it was 30%. Tent is 68 ish. Thinking of testing out HVAC venting into tent just to see (one register). Not sure of settings on Vivosun 8” exhaust controller set at 3 for fan speed. Maybe should up it as room intake is

Not at all cool about getting busted. I was very hinky about posting at first. Might better stop and take everything down?

Thank you! Yes, it can be costly to get started indoors, but it's cheaper than the dispensary prices. My goodness, I would go broke if that were my only means to smoke.
How did the purple/thc Bomb strain do outside here in VA?
I would like to try one outside this spring myself. Been looking at that supafreak strain hombolt has. It looks great for a stealth grow.
If you have the space like big closet or empty room or garage or even a corner of a room that you can grow in and sorta close off a little you can get a cheap light from the hardware store like home Depot to at least veg your plants until you can put them outdoors in late spring or a small vivoson 1000 on sale at home Depot around $110 and even flower it in a closet just need to be able to give complete darkness during flower..I use a Metalux utility Highbay disc light LED it replaces a 250 watt MH it was under $50.00 you can finish indoors with it but the flower will not be as dense if you get both you can't use it from veg and move them outdoors when the time comes they will be monsters and you extend you grow season .but getting both would be better veg your plants in one closet then flower in another with the vivoson you can get both at home Depot .it you decide to just veg indoors and move outdoors make sure to harden off the plants before moving to full sunlight just leave them in the shade for a about 3 days to a week first.

That was the in 1994 different times everything is legal now but still be mindful of neighbors and nuisance laws also the learning experience helped me when I set back up in 2010 to 2013 I used a different mailing address for all my banking and ordering seeds and equipment. So was very successful and was quiet as kept .Less show. But you need to still be mindful of rippers and Jealousy people also.Just be safe brother.

Isn’t that all the truth. Gotta love guys like you keep’n it real. Thanks!

Np the only way to keep what we have is sometimes giving it away when people breeders that have gotten busted lost everything their only solace was that people that had clones or seeds that they gave to others helped them rebuild just like subcool with the fire and the breeders helped him rebuild his legacy before he passed away . People are still chasing the strains today. The great thing is they are still selling them around the prices he tried to keep his seeds at making them available to the average grower .Love that.

Close to same. Local and friendly guy got me started by gifting me five strains @ 2 each and sprout and grow they did! That’s before I knew how expensive they were (astonished at that). Turn around? I bought some much better strains and will gift back.

Welcome to the fold freebies!
TY, no prob. Just posted: Mine are looking great, my and others opinion. First trim yesterday on all (very lite on autos), not topping photos yet, today gave half cup (1 tbs/qt well water) FF Bloom to entire grow to slightly damp plants (first real fert) near base of stems. I/2 cup NEAMATODES also added to slightly damp soil. From seedlings 3/23/2026. Being careful as were a bit wet and want to see results.

I always PH-up my well water as it runs at about 5.9 from the tap and I like it 6.5 - 6.6 and 69 degrees.

I know I checked it earlier but couldn’t remember. So, got up to check again. It’s at least 6.7 ph from a new “fair” meter (does soil moisture & ph).

P.H. is probably the Most important thing people overlook...The well water when I lived in Buchanan was 9.2! I had never had any problems with ph until then... Soil test kits are on my shelf now, as well as litmus straps. I bought a cheap ph pen from vivosun...but I don't trust is as I accidentally let the bulb dry out.
Remember also that the added nutes can have a profound affect on ph.
Looking good so far!

I’ve heard that about nutes. Makes sense as added stuff. Since you said, gonna check soil again and every time after! TY, I agree I’m happy but there’s Murphy’s law and might be luck. Hope it doesn’t run out. Amazing growers here with fantastic plants!

It's not needed to check the soil everytime, usualy once at the beginning, once before the flip. Just check the water ph after your additions. It would be terribly expensive if you use the soil test kits.
As long as the plants look healthy, it would be a waste.
I like to do it just before the flip so I have an idea of where the soil is. Also, it tells me where I stand with nute levels.
