Thanks! Same to you I'd like to try outdoors at some point but we have an open yard, a lot of woods, and tons various critters. They generally leave our vegetable garden alone but it's close to the house and surrounded by sensor lights. We've also got a healthy bug population, we planted peas last year and had beetles decimate them. Sprayed everything we could find on them for weeks and finally had to pull them. Our girls are inside with our cat on guard who loves to eat bugs

I start mine inside but put them outside after I transplant them to their big pots and hardening them. One of my biggest issues every year is the pests but I find captain jacks neem oil being utilized early and often helps keep the bugs away a lot. I also use diatomaceous earth and sprinkle it on top of the soil around the plants every so often. Those two things have really helped me a lot with the pest problems. I also keep them pretty close to the house on concrete so I don't have any problems with wildlife messing with them. I am going to be building a sort of greenhouse pretty soon to keep them out of the weather aswell. Right now I just bring them in when the weather is bad. I used to have a tent I used for them but my plants outgrew it last year so im going to build something bigger myself that way they can be safe from the rain and such. Last year two of my plants got mutilated by storms had to zip tie the branches back together.

Angus@real seed company is a good guy !!! Had great success with the nanda devi from real seed company. The helmand was okay...never got the siberian to perform, but I'm still considering it. Good luck on your grow!

Yeah, outdoor growing in Virginia can be tough. Powdery Mildew and Bud Rot can be worse than the bugs. Deer and Raccoons get in the veggie garden but stay out of the greenhouse. Definitely need an indoor grow going also because outdoor can be a crap shoot. Unfortunately my cats would rather eat my leaves than the bugs.

Hello fellow Virginians! Over here in Fredericksburg Virginia

We're currently growing-
Sour Diesel
Mandarin cookies
Jealousy
And a mystery seed that we think is Cherry Faded.
All photoperiod.

We're currently mid flower, fighting our lovely Virginia humidity.

Who's sour Diesel are you growing?

I have a bunch of Sour Diesel stuff going and I'm working on a long time project to bring a quality sour Diesel representation in seed form.
I'm in the North Shenandoah Valley, Middleburg area.
I have going now:
Alderpoint Sour Diesel- Aficianado
Alderpoint Sour Diesel- Sun Valley
Sour Tai- Shoreline
Shoreline bx- Shoreline
FishScale- Shoreline
Skunk x DeathStar- Shoreline

If the Alderpoint SD doesn't turn out tasting like gummy bears...I have Fem and Reg pollens from other Sour Diesel works and ECSD works to use on it.
I always flower my male plants too...always looking for that 1!

Transplant day for the landraces. 6 Tashkurgan and 8 Mazar-i-sharif from the real seed co. got up potted to 1 gallon containers for the long wait for them to show their sex. They are looking strong and healthy and loving this spring weather. Don't have the heart to tell them what they will be dealing with in a few weeks. Let them enjoy their youth. Auto seedlings coming along. Still bringing them in at night when it gets below 60°. Popping 2 chocolate gellato ×Okie and 2 death star × Lemon Gojo now to fill out this year's outdoor grow.

I got a heavy sour leaner from shoreline. Ive got some ap sours started now. If you like sour you should really check out death coast by pip. Souvenir seed shop. Pricey but ive never heard a complaint.

High and Lonesome has a lot of ECSD/shoreline/death star crosses. He works with THE cuts. He has a discord showing all the gear grown out, also grows of his cuts he uses. VA breeder btw. By the look of your taste you would fit right in

Thank you Sir I will look into them for sure...I've tried all the clones and they are found to be lacking...I've found much better in seed...I don't really try to save clones anymore as it's too much space and I'm trying to find it and make it available in a seed line...so it is always forwards not backwards.

Got the "house" sour Diesel from North Atlantic seed company so it could be any growers. She's been putting off a real peppery scent for the past week. Originally we planted two sour diesels but only one sprouted. I have noted the one we have is leaning to the woody side and the main stem is really thick and woody, tends to want to break off branches at the base of the main stem if we're not careful and wants to split where she was topped So we literally zip tied it together. She's showing some color today, she's been putting off a peppery smell this past week and the last couple of days she's showing some Amber.

My (young) cat discovered the 20gal fabric pots today. Turns out they make a very nice scratching post. Hope they make it through the summer.

I've started washing my indoor grows mainly because of the cat hair on my buds. Stuff gets everywhere.

I’m in CA and we pride ourselves in being out in front. So wait till the forest fires come. There were some summers where it was raining ash for months. Lots of bud washing at harvest time.
