lol love the dabs lately, still love me a good dank nug everyday tho too, soo :)blue dream dap 1 and 2 just finished- prefer a nice sativa day high in the summer heat( just something about the above named strain Daywrecker seems as to be not the best wake and baked med, thou it was pretty .....
whats up leafmold? haha funny name, hope theres a funny story too...lol welcome to the waken bake thread. these are some drums that I carved from solid logs. no lathe. have five or six ready for skins. it started as a hobby of sorts and is takin over what little free time I have. but itll be worth it to know that some sweet sounds will come from these logs, that would have went to a woodstove:D otherwise. been a hippie all my life and in the djembe’s folklore, the drum is believed to contain three spirits: the spirit of the tree from which the shell was made, the spirit of the animal from which the drumhead was made, and the spirit of the instrument maker. that's what makes it worth it. enjoy the day. what size drum are you looking for?420 those drums are looking beautiful. Im in the market for another drum. What the story behind those.
yeah ive got friends that have the synthetic drums and they all say the same thing. all hand carved drums just have a better sound. I have drums ranging in a couple different sizes. 8"- 16" heads and 16"- 26" tall. ill have five of them headed up before next weekend, enjoy the day. let me know if I can help with your drum needs....lolCool info man. I need to look into the history and beliefs more on ancient instruments. I bet that is some hard work man. Thats just gnarly carving logs. Irecently got a djembe. Dont recall the size but its pretty big. Its a remo all synthetic. It plays well and sounds nice but I want something hand made from natural materials. Oh and no good story behind the name. Just love to use leafmold as a soil ammendment. Composted leaf is what it is.
lmao here we go ....haha lucky dog;)I would be out here on the best coast.
mmm grape god, looks very very good my friend. thanks for droppin in. birds like to get high too!:woot:I love attracting birds when I wake and bake..
