Not a professional macro camera but using a tripod helps A LOT! Also look into rigging a ring light or something near the bud so you illuminate that area.

Funny. . .just bought a tripod today. . .gearing up for the ETS photo contest. Considering a small light box as well.

The wish list, should it be a present asked for or an upgrade for you, would be a DSLR with 100mm Macro lens, light ring, tripod, backdrop(optional/DIY) looking something like this

The camera body isn't that expensive it's the lens that takes you for a spin. Like 9-00 http://www.amazon.com/Canon-100mm-2-8L-IS-Macro/dp/B002NEGTSI

Check out this link for some good info.

Probably a better place for this info, but here we are ;)

thanks 42o

^^ Hey 420 is that camera digital or film? I'm thinking that is a film camera, though they make a digital version I believe. You can still buy an SLR with out it being a D(igital)SLR so make sure you ask, unless you like film.

lol picture that? literally hahaha thanks for all your help brother 42o

You definitely want digital. Let me know your budget, and I can make some suggestions. I'm a Canon guy, but my first digi was an Olympus and I liked it.

But, last I checked this, was a FUCKING WAKE N BAKE THREAD BITCHES.

So how about a little Yule Tide cheer, I threw a log of Maui Wowie on the fire this morning.

And what better to wash down the maui with but some DRO QWISO?

Time are tough brother. I saw a guy in town recently with a sign that said "Jewish and homeless, need money for new BMW."

For $300-$400 you can get a great camera. I'd recommend getting a high-end point and shoot for that range. My Canon S100 can be found for under $400. In my opinion, it's the best point n shoot on the market, and what pros carry when they don't want their big rig.

It's got anything from fully automatic settings to fully manual, and lots in between. Of course, to get the best shots, you have to understand photography basics, but that applies with any camera. I always like to read lots of reviews, and have a sense of what I'm looking for in advance. So many fucking options. . .Good luck, let us know what you end up with.
