My tap water's pH is 8.1. I was wondering if I should be using GH Flora Micro Hard Water instead of regular Micro in my nutrient trio?

If so, do I use it in the same quantity as I would regular Micro?

Would using the hard water formula bring my nutrient solution to the desired 5.5 - 6.5 pH level?

Note: I am mixing 1 gallon of solution for every feed.

I grow in soil. My city tap water comes out about 7.9

I use FF liquid nutrients.

I never mess with PH ✌️

The difference between the regular and hard water versions of GH Flora Micro is that the regular is 5% calcium and the hard water is 1% calcium. GH's instructions are to choose one or the other based on the calcium content of your water. If it's over 70 ppm of Ca, use the hard water product. You would use the same feed chart. I don't know what it will do to pH.
