if your were slick you could use electric dampers and different humididstats and control diff humidity in difernt rooms..

i bet enuff air movement and you could get away with higher rh

im not familiar with VPD but wouldnt lower rh be better for growth according to cohesion-tension theory?
Not exactly. VPD has to do with temperature and RH and how it affects transpiration and transpiration rates. The sweet spot for my girls is 80F + 70%RH.

A VPD calculator, and don't ask me what the numbers mean, I just know that we're looking for a range. VPD deserves a thread of its own and I think there was one here a while ago.

organicfreak its against the rules to post like you have in this thread, if you keep that up your likely to get your post count reset or banned

Constant 80% RH, Very cold and damp here.
Got a dehumitifyer and it had it at 40% very quickly.

Cold and damp I already assumed. I was more asking for a number to try and get you into a good range. Just trying to get you started on the right foot.

It is all relative... lol.

Great links, Those Aussies got things dialed in so many ways!

The numbers something like this.

100% rh exerts a vapor pressure of 24 torr.
When you have warm days and low relative humidity this creates a pressure deficit. Which means less pressure on the plant. Whenever surrounding vapour pressure is less than 24 torr then you have a "vapor pressure deficit".

Now you can go back to ignoring that number lol :)

ow yeah my bad, sometimes is education rather than user error. (or impatience)

forgot about that 10second delay waiting for approval thing..
