Not exactly. VPD has to do with temperature and RH and how it affects transpiration and transpiration rates. The sweet spot for my girls is 80F + 70%RH.i bet enuff air movement and you could get away with higher rh
im not familiar with VPD but wouldnt lower rh be better for growth according to cohesion-tension theory?

Constant 80% RH, Very cold and damp here.
Got a dehumitifyer and it had it at 40% very quickly.
