Currently non of the sacs have opened at all. Do you think there is a genuine chance of and decent crop left as the bud development is pretty strong considering its week 4 flower plants seem very strong.
Well polinated weed is better than no weed haha.try to cut as many as you can but there will allways be one banana inside a fat bud that you will miss.

My last grow i made polen and not all branches where male.taste of polen and smell was amazing whole plant smells like flowers

I never had problems with barnies but then again i never boght such a new strain i usually buy the old stuff

What else can you do? Trow away 5months of work because your weed has seeds.its still good weed just you wont get 500g you will get 380g who cares.

And polen sacks take weeks to start opening and even then they dont open all the same day soo you have a good chance to take them all before they make a big mess.

i 40 grows or so i got some seeds two time, not the end of the world, just carefully pre-grind your weed by hand to remove any seeds that could crush with a grinder and taste bad.

having sinsemilia aka weed without seeds is something fairly new in weed history, no so long ago having weed with seeds was rather common.

I had so many herms now, I handle it like this: If I see a sac here and there, I remove it with water (Edit: -and pray that no more show up). If there are many on one plant, remove the plant. If there are already open sacs somewhere... toss everything if you are in early weeks. If it is the end, make concentrates...
I’m slightly confused

You say you’ve never had this happen before yet you’ve had many hermi

I didn’t know it was all of them

Are you constantly getting hermi

I do notice a bunch of leaves in a box & a overly defoliated plant

Are you defoliating in flower if so when are you doing it ie witch week

If the worst happens and you can’t stand seeded weed buy a set of bubble bags

Iv never had a grow before hermi this was someone elses comment. I did defoiliate in week 3 quite heavy as they needed it. I may have left the strip quite late which caused this.

24 plants in 3 different tents all the same strain and all herm because of a defoliation? Im having a hard time accepting that. I'd be looking for somewhere else to buy my seeds tbh.

Yeah its very strange iv never seen this happen thats why im so confused. The seeds may have come from a previous hermied crop by the supplier? Thats the only thing i can think of on that one as its more likely isnt it if it came from a hermied source?

Unfortunately there's nothing from stopping someone from calling hermed seeds Feminized S1. They're "technically" not lying. By the time you figure it out they can always blame you for causing it with poor growing practices... obviously not the case here. Sorry this happened to you but it seems to be getting more common now days.

Did the seeds come in an official Barney's pack or was it a white label job?

I was about to ask the same thing. Seems sad to think about but there are a lot of shady people in the seed game that sell fake/unstable genetics and I’ve personally been to an event in Michigan where I saw a vendor selling bootleg Brothers Grimm seed packs. The packaging at that time was different and he claimed it was the ā€œnewestā€ packaging on the market. A quick reach out to BG themselves verified that was a lie and I reported the vendor to the venue. It’s one thing to just not know about a seeds genetics, it’s another thing to blatantly pass it as something else.

If the pack is an official pack from Barney’s though you won’t have an issue with a refund/replacement as they’re a decent company. Sorry for the ā€œlossā€ of your plants, but as people have said not all is truly lost. You got this growmie!

The good news... if you can call it that... is it would appear genetics is the greater culprit here and not environment. Sounds more like they sold herm seeds than just bad genetics in a "feminized" run.

What im noticing at the moment while im plucking is that a lot of the pollen sacs are starting to stay closed and forming thc on them with white pistils coming out of them like they are trying to turn back female

UPDATE: positive news, on a better over look 2 of the tents are not effected by the hermie so 12 plants are looking ok for now.

The main tent has had around 300 pods removed in the last 3 hours by hand and have been sprayed with a foliar spray to aid recovery and hopefully stop any further ones popping up. Had to get rid of one plant as it was heavily contamined and i didnt want to risk it.

Can i have any further advise on maybe feeding / ppm levels etc to aid in the least stress as possible moving forwards. Iv got all the LED light panels running at 400w. I just want to do the next stages right. Any help is appreciated from your knowledge in this for me. Even if its grow tips for the last 5-6 weeks i have ahead of me. I have looked for light leaks and cant see any appartent one but i will check again.

Thanks so much everyone for your help.

Best advice is to just keeping checking/removing regularly. Make sure your temp/RH is within proper range and check your lights levels at the canopy to make sure it’s not too weak/strong. If memory serves correct PPM should be close to 1000 ideally for flowering stage. Just make sure to stop feeding them about 2 weeks before chop and do a flush if needed to remove any excess in the soil and help improve flavor. I generally don’t focus too much on PPM in soil as when I mix my nutrient solutions I adjust ph and just go from there. Less is more though when it comes to nutrients generally speaking. When feeding anything I usually only do 1/4 of the recommended dose and only increase it if I actually notice a deficiency. Just keep at it and adjust to any new curve balls(no pun intended lmao) they through at you. Anyone here will tell you it’s not a proper grow without them scaring the ever loving shit out of you at least once or twice šŸ˜‰šŸ˜‚

Im not sure your location in the world but over here in the uk we mainly grow in 70/30 coco, so unfortunately we can only mainly run sodium based nutrients which can be a pain. Ups and downs with it all! Id love to grow with natural methods if possible! I wish we had giha green stuff over here as i love watching mrcanucks on yourtube he is great. I will take your advive and only improve im not an expert grower iv done around 14 crops in my time. So always still learning. This is my first run back after a year break and its been hell all the way through. Hoping the next will be better as the next one is the last one i can do as im moving in with my partner and wont be able to do it again. Thank you so much for the input and taking time out your day to assist me.

it's possible the plant produce both males and females preflowers next to each others:
257 ball
258 bananas
