Howdy farmers,

My seedlings are 2 weeks old.
I did stunt them with to much light and overwatering :(
Anyone know what this discoloration is on my cotyledons?
They are in PRO-MIX HP (peatmoss and perlite) watered with 6.5PH tapwater.
From what I read it looks like it could be the start of a manganese deficiency?
Its only happening to my Blueberry cookie seedlings. All others are unaffected.

I would appreciate any advice or opinions :)

Thanks

They will naturally die off and the discoloration is not a sign of a deficiency. The cotyledons only supply the plant with nutrients for a few weeks during early development. Your plants look fine.

OK! That puts my mind at ease. The dark color scared me. Thankyou for your insight!

Plants can't live on water alone. Promix doesn't have nutes added. You should be feeding.

Hmmm, I was told that they are good for 2 weeks. Just looked up their MSDS and it indeed says its "essential" to fertilize after first 7 days! Thankyou for saying this cause I was not going to feed for another couple days. You just saved my babies even more stress!
