23/04/20 - Day 28 - Holy Shitballs, the pace has picked up again with these guys. I have actually turned on the autopot system this morning as upon examining the bottom of all three pots I can see some good roots poking through which means they are now able to bottom feed. I will, as always, be keeping a close eye on them to make sure they are taking to the new feeding method. EC in the tank is 1.3 and pH is 6.0. I will increase the EC to 1.5 with the next reservoir change as their appetite is now increasing. I have a low flow water pump in the res on a timer to run for half an hour every three and a half hours just to make sure the nutes stay mixed.

26/04/30 - Day 31 - They're loving the autopots. They have doubled in size in 3 days. Filled the res up with about 25L and they are drinking at a nice rate. pH at a steady 6.0, needs occasional adjusting but only seems to drift up by 0.2 so not much at all really. At this rate I may be able to switch to flower by the end of next week. I want them to be about 14 inches before I do so, I have my scrog net at that height at the moment and they are fast approaching it. Looking forward to start putting some pictures of buds up, that is still a little while away though.

29/04/20- Day 34 - Autopots FTW! These babies are gonna be lush :)

Started some LST a couple of days ago, finally got my soft garden tie wire through the post. Due to lockdown and high amounts of online orders where I am it took a long time to come through otherwise I would have started earlier. With the speed they are growing I am able to tie down new cola sites every day. Once they reach the scrog net I can relax :)

Had to top up the reservoir yesterday also, they drank about 20L in 5 days (only half filled the res) The feeding solution is now at 1.5 as they are getting bushier and need more food. I reckon its about 2 more weeks before I switch the light cycle to flower at this rate of growth so I have now added in the Top Heavy Crop by Hydrotops.

18/05/20 - Day 53 - Howdy, it has been a little while since my last post. I thought I would leave it for a bit as I have had no major issues other than a small calmag deficiency in one of them which was very quickly rectified by adding calmag in to the res which i hadn't been doing previously as my nutes are designed for soft water so they have added calmag in them. Also didn't want to bore you guys with weekly pics watching the plants grow.

Now, we are at the exciting bit. I switched over to 12/12 light cycle on 10/05/20 so now we are just over a week in to flower. I decided to make the switch when they were at 14 inches tall to compensate for the stretch. Thought they are Indica dominant i have learned to expect at least a doubling in size though it is starting to look like I could have given this particular phenotype perhaps another week but better safe than sorry.

The day I made the switch I adjusted the reservoir to 2.0 EC ( have been slowly increasing since the calmag issue) with a half and half mix of grow and bloom nutes. Still with the added calmag and including the Top Heavy Crop from Hydrotops. The results speak for themselves. All three plants are loving life at the moment, Leela (top left in the pic) has 8 main colas!!! Leia has 6 main colas and Lyra has 4. Also, at this stage all three are confirmed ladies. I have used feminized seeds so this was the likely outcome but you never know really until you see those white hairs at the nodes.

I shall return once we start to see some of those lovely titties appearing :)
