Yea bro me neither this time I think he might be onto something I've been reading bits that have been posted but tbh the jury is still out I might end up selling this 1000w de gavita and getting into these 630 cmh dimlux I'm hearing they cover a 1.5 sqm and are pulling 1000g + so time will tell I guess making these decisions years ago didn't exist lol

The thing is I don't wanna swap quality for quantity and I'm hearing that is what these gavs are about without adjusting the light but the light this guy is trying to tell me I need is a extra £800 or something ridiculous like that

I'm going down the CMH road soon. I want the solistek 315s but I don't think there are any in the U.K. Right now so will get some maxibrights. Some guys I know and respect are smashing it with the cmh lights.

Just the thing I wanted to hear :) the maxibright are cheap too I think there about £200 the 1s I've seen are a bit bigger ticket than than but that's only because of the things I want the controller to do that only works with these lights

I've never been convinced with led tbh. we did get a couple for the farm in spain to try and reduce the heat in summer but the Spanish police had other ideas a couple of week before is due for the chop so I can't really say yes or no what I can say is I spent €1600 on 2 lights so there not a cheap alternative

Not at the time there were cheaper units bur I thought if I was guna try I might as well get the better 1s. I think the cheapest at the time from the supplier over there was €450 so nearly half price and ime 9 times out of 10 the reason being there half as good. if it means anything though the plants in that tent were looking as good as anything else but with a lower heat signature so I guess it would have been mission accomplished it just would have been expensive to do all 20 tents at €1600
