Max,
Glad to see your enjoying your MEDS .... Must say nice job and a very informative journal. My hats off to ya Bro, keep up the excellent farming.

Nice bro. Very stout lookin girls, gonna be a killer harvest. Thanks for the great journal man, really was well done! Im happy for ya brother, cant wait for the smoke reports. MGG

Hey Max! Lookin good, bro. Glad to see things are working out so well for ya.
I remember you saying that the lamp on that unit doesn't put off much heat, but I was wondering if the transformer on top gets very warm.
Regards

Seems like that pontoon is doing pretty good. I see you were looking into plasma. Before you drop dough on the plasma check out the 315w cdm phillips cmh bulb. They are more efficient umol per watt vs the plasma and twice the lumens and the options from a full spectrum to one with more red. And its waaaay cheaper!

Hey Zap! Thanks man, and good to see ya around! Yeah, the Induction light runs VERY cool! I'm not sure on what the temps would be, but I can put my hand on either the ballast on top...or the bulb directly, and it's not so hot that I have to move it. I can hold it there for a few minutes. I'm amazed by how low the heat is. It runs cooler than the VHO T-5 I was using! Again bro...good to see you around and thanks for dropping in!

Best,

Max :wacky:

Thanks! Good info! I'll definitely check it out. I'm so happy with the Inda-gro right now, that I'll probably put it on the backburner for a bit. I want to get a complete run out of the Inda-gro so I can judge it fairly. From what I'm seeing so far though, I'm very pleased. It has definitely kicked the resin production up several notches, and it seems to be packing the weight on the buds. IMO...the plants LOVE this light! Again...thanks for the info, and for dropping in!

Max

I need some updates Max. Iol I think I might be more excited than u are lol

Haha...I'm doubting that! Today is the day I'm going to take down the Blueberry Gum! I may take the Speedberry too, but need to scope it one more time to see what % of my trics are amber/cloudy. The Animal Cookies still need to bake a while. So far, there is no tricome production to amount to much on them. I'm really hoping the AC nugs will tighten up and start showing some frost. Anyway...I'll get some pre and post chop pix up sometime later today!

Best,

Max :wacky:

Hey all,

Well...It's been a rugged, ugly harvest, complete with shed blood! :inpain: :nurse: But...the Blueberry Gum and the Speedberry are chopped and hanging in the net! I wanted to hurry up and get them in the dark, so I didn't get any post-chop pics, but I'll sneak a couple of shots of them in the racks, to give an idea of yield. Considering that 85% of this grow was done under T-5's, I'm very pleased with the yield and especially the tightness and density of the nugs! A word of caution...you should NEVER try to operate dangerous equipment...like sizzors...while baked and excited! I got a bit ahead of myself, and damn near took a finger off! OUCH!! :blackeye: It really needed stitches, but I did not feel like dealing with all the ER bullshit (not to mention the bill!) so I just taped it together real good. Hopefully, this will hold.

Here's a couple of pre-chop pics. I'll mpost up weights and a smoke report soon! Thanks for dropping in! We should have about another 2 weeks left on the Animal Cookies, so be sure to stop back by.

Best,

Max

is it wrong of me to want to see your wound:bored:
oh and your buds look great, HAPPY HARVEST

Damn right Max!!...I got me a few of dim Speedberrys somewhere lol...been promising to grow um for ever...ain't done it yet..buds look great and them damn Fiskars don't play...lol...if your tape gets in the way a little super glue will work wonders...yep...done the same...and a baked numb brain had nothing to do with it...it's that dilation thingy that makes"objects closer than they appear"...I'll be watching for that report...B

Buds look wonderful!.. Not to worry until that finger heals, I'll stop by and pack your bowls for ya! .. Nice work with the t-5 bro.. And please don't bring them scissors into the bedroom!.. Looking forward for some GSC action next.. Congrats.. Donny P

Looking pretty good man, the other site your on I couldnt actually see the pics cause I'm not a member. You can see a major turn around after you uped the light in there as well, was happy to hear you did that after. Max is a good buddy of mine by the way folks so i've been seeing this grow since the start myself. Gotta say though, I can tell which one is bcbds work right away, i don't know what they use in their genetics but they hit it with something that makes all their plants look the same, the narrow dark green leaves that tend to turn in different directions. You kept her healthy though, and with their stuff thats hard to do man, they have a tendency to have issues, lucky plants they had a good grower i say. And you've got that speedberry i think it is looking really nice man.

WOW! Bigma, Big Buddy, Zoner, MGG, Mogrow, DP...I didn't get this good a turnout at my high school reunion! It's like old-home week" in here! I LOVE it!!! Thanks so much for dropping in guys! It's REALLY GREAT to "see" everybody! Well...haha, the cut is pretty much healed up, and no perm damage! (Close one)! Maybe if I waited to take the Percocet AFTER I actually hurt myself...

Hey Big B.!!! Thanks for dropping by, bro! It's GREAT to see you back on the boards a bit! IMO (which I KNOW is shared by many) the quality of the advice you can find...as well as the overall online "forum" experience degraded sharply when you stopped being so active! Anyway...I hope your health is doing good, and that you're able to join in more. I appreciate you saying that about the AC's having a good grower, but anything I learned, came from you, bro! I'll have to say though, that (as always) all your advice has been "spot on"! Thanks so much!

I know what you mean about the BCBD gear all looking pretty much the same these days. One of the last BCBD strains I grew out was SweetTooth, and I swear, it could be sisters with these ACs...and they should be NOTHING alike! You can tell from the pics on their site of the Animal Cookies, that whatever this is, looks nothing like it! It also looks VERY different from ANY cookies cross I've seen online. These plants do have a very "minty" aroma to them tho, so I'm curious as to how they'll cure out. They sure didn't get very frosty though, which is disappointing.

I don;t know what happened with the AC's. A couple of weeks ago, they started breaking out with fresh, new pistils for no reason. I hadn't changed anything, or added anything. I'm not using Cha-Ching (which CAN cause this), so I don;t know why they did it. I DO know I'm tired of fucking around with these plants tho. They're at 12 weeks today, so I'm going to go ahead an take them down tonite I think. Here's a few pre-chop pics. Do ya'll think I'm making a mistake if I go ahead and take them? Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Unless somebody convinces me otherwise, I'll probably chop them tonight or tomorrow. They've been in the dark...thirsty...for the last 2 days, so I'm ready anytime. I nhate to go this far with them tho, and take them down just short of true maturity...however with them "re-budding" who the fuck knows when that is? My trics are a mix of clear, cloudy and amber. It's "supposed" to be a 9-10 week strain, and today is week 12 for these.

Thanks again for dropping in! It's REALLY great seeing old these old familiar faces! Take care!

Just looking back at those pics...it's gonna be a bitch to trim!!! I can honestly say that this will be the LAST BCBD gear I ever plan to run. Hell, I wouldn't have run these if they weren't freebies. I really don't know what goes on at BCBD these days, but time and space is just too precious to waste on them. There are too many great strains out there to fuck around with inferior genetics! These have been much harder to care for and keep healthy than the other strains. After the chop, I'll post up weights and a smoke report on these and that will close out this grow. Next up is the ROC gear, and I'll be starting a separate thread on them. No problems with quality there!!!

Hey Max,
If they are taking up space you can use for different gear ....... Then pull the plug on 'em .... Cure 'em and burn, burn, burn. Have your MEDS while growing out the new gear Bro... Put that shit behind you and grow out ROC'S gear and use your skills on the primo quality beans.
Max you did one hell of a job, and I've learned quite a bit from ya .... not to mention you pointing me to the Farm.

ZONER SAYS ........ Smoke 'em Bro .....Smoke 'em.... :-)

They look ripe and ready.. cloudy & amber.. Go for it.. I'll sharpen my snips!.. To much work for one man.. Congrats bro..

Hey man, with BCBDs stuff theres no such thing as a good plant anymore, and to be honest even when there was they were few and far between. Theres no grower in the world that could bring anymore out of those than you did man, its just not in there to be brought out. Toss em and get more real genetics in there you can enjoy, you grow a damn fine plant bro, no sense in wasting your talents on them. I would assume your little gift should be there any day now so you'll have some more options. Even when i used to post over there i didnt grow their genetics except for the god bud i kept for a while, which was nice, but only the one pheno, the rest was trash. Have to say that one pheno was amazing though, but hasn't earned back my respect for em yet, lol.
I hope i can get my mildew issues fixed up and get some proper environment going again, if so I'll be back on the post. Theres a few things in the seed section here i was looking at id love to get my hands on actually, but fallen behind on the seed scene so don't know most of the newer breeders out there, but some nice looking stuff around for sure. Now if only i had like 2000 I could blow, lol.
