After being out of the game for a couple years … I’m going to try to do a gorilla grow next spring … problem is I have my own place but (renter) my landlord is one of those churchy people and believes that weed is the devil ..

So I went out this morning early and found a half acre field that’s grown up right beside the highway..
No one uses it anymore and haven’t for the last few years.
It’s very concealed with the trees and everything but the up growth of bushes in the field shows a lot of clearing to do..
I’ll have to make a return trip when it gets cold af outside, I seen a big rattler and that kind of spooked me and I left pretty quickly..weeds and grass and shrubs are chest high.. thought about going over there around 6 AM one morning before good daylight and spraying it down with some round up… can’t start till next May so is that enough time for roundup to leach out of the soil ? Or am I going to poison myself ….asking so I don’t kill myself
Like I said this place is dead ass on the side of a busy ass highway but no one even gives it a second look

Just be careful to leave the smallest footprint you can, and try not to be seen putzing around in the field. I take it your not in an “enlightened “ state. I’ve done a few guerilla grows, but they were very remote in the emerald triangle.

We are legal ….but the older folks don’t like it and will turn you in for the slightest bit of anything…people here tend to think if they lived here for 60 years they have the right to run around telling everybody (law enforcement ) what they know ….even if they don’t know shit ?
They still go spin a tale

But here in this town it’s like 95% church ️ people who run this place

I figured spraying round up 6 months before would make things safe (and easier on me)

Use of that roundup will kill any living biome that will power your grow. You will need chemical ferts the entire run.
Suggest an inground sub irrigated planter using a buried tote set up for auto watering. This can limit visits to once a week and plant can not be drowned from a big rain.

That’s unfortunate, being older than 60 myself, I’ve learned that if it doesn’t negatively affect me, it’s none of my freaking business how someone lives their life.

dont go out on someone elses land and dump chemicals to kill some weeds for the gurilla grow. you are gonna have to hack it down. youd need 50 gallons of more of the poison to to clear anything worth using. hack down what you wanna use and use tarps to keep weeds from re growing or just maintain the area throughout the grow with a hack an slash style. that sucks your landlords still in the 50s about weed.
