I dont know a lot about rocks but I like to see people who tumble rocks or open them. Was it near a river? I would crack it open with the help of a professional in the middle, looks like the kind of rock that could have a mineral inside. Nothing rare, nothing expensive (probably) but very cool to see. Does it weight less than usual? Like it has an air pocket inside.

This one is not as impressive as others Ive seen but the rock looks similar.

Cooler ones

This is not as typical because its not as hollow ,probably worth a lot.

This one is more typical because its hollow, still probably worth a fair bit because of the mineral inside. Quartz, the white one, is the most typical, the others are not as typical.
There could also be a fossil inside.
Or it could also be the case that there's nothing inside but then you can use it as decoration in the garden flat side down, it will look like the other half is burried, or flat side up if it has a cool pattern, sometimes its just rock but still looks cool inside.

I’m a rock tumbler, collect rocks from all over the world, mostly agates. Your rock ain’t marble and it’s not a geode or thunder egg. Looks like a nice hunk of quartz.

Wow very nice pics are they yours? So whats the veredict on Gnick's rock? Open it? By the looks of it I thought it could be quartz inside but I was only wild guessing based on the videos Ive seen and similar rocks, like the first one I uploaded, thats the kind of rock Gnick has right? Quartz you said, would be nice to take a peak inside

I’ve got hundred of pics of my rocks. His looks like quartz with inclusions. It’s a good looking rock. Cutting it won’t reveal anything too cool, but will give nice flat shinny surfaces.

Do you post them somewhere? Also cant it be hollow? If so, even if its quartz and one of the most common, wouldnt that be worth cracking it open? Why do you think its solid inside? Im just asking because Im curious Im not questioning your expertise.

I used to post every day on instagram, I stopped about a yr ago. His rock is solid inside, pretty much guarantee it. When I get to my shop , I’ll take some pics.
