Saw Roy many times back in the day. Would stand 3 feet away transfixed, could not believe my eyes. Roy left us way too early nothing these days can come close to his talent..
Roy lived the blues, slept in ditches, barns, played for nothing before gaining some fame. Was a troubled soul.. was arrested for public intoxication and found dead in a jail cell an apparent suicide so they say...
