You know many days/times when I'm home alone I prefer silence.
You would be surprised at the thoughts/clutter from your subconscious that goes unattended.

Silence gives me the chance to run through that clutter of thoughts that gets pushed aside from the hustle of work, daily responsibilities & problems.

And allows me to clear my head.
Attaining a level of mental clarity & peace that allows me to relax and focus on my personal hobbies, wants, ridding stress & even sleeping well.

It is kind of like meditation of sorts.
