What companies actually give info?
Who documents their work?
Who does recombinant inbred lines?
Who breeds f1 hybrids from stable, separate inbred lines?
What measurable, constructive tools are available to verify/validate any claims?
Who lists the genetic traits they're breeding towards or away from in a particular line?

I want to be able to sprout 25 seeds, find only 3 or 4 phenotypes, and find a fairly vigorous female of one or two phenotypes and make them mother's. I don't want to sprout 25 f2 seeds and get 12 phenotypes. Not my gig, I can't sprout enough to hunt for specifics. I want the most vigorous specimens of a specific phenotype that reflects the traits the breeder was hoping to achieve. Do breeders still do that?

I think the pheno hunting is cool. I think stable genetics are also cool.

Who has the stable genetics at a decent price who shows their work and/or provides information and detail as to what they were trying to achieve and what results actually were expressed through X amount of phenotype variance? Ffs.

If you want stable, get an f5 or f6. Plenty of companies have stable strains.

A friend who worked in process control and lab works explained to me that Canada's testing was ridiculously vigorous. Including when it comes to seeds. So I went with seeds from a government store for the first time. And it turned out to be the first time I've gotten seeds that went well. So I will keep using government sources to see if there is weight to the idea of enforced quality. They don't tell you much about their breeding.

Dude, wtf are you talking about LOL. Are you talking about seeds that are good meaning viable? Please research Horticulture Seed Testing to learn more about how companies cull (test) their seeds.

If you can't figure out what I'm expressing go study reading comprehension. Next time share something worth reading.

Hayden's Strain is what I am getting next.

I second that but to find f5 or f6s you got to have a really good friend cuz thats yrs we talking about and most ppl get offended when they pay over 100 a pack .if you really know whats involved you know its alot of time involved along with a casional mistake or 2 along the way . My advice would be to get some old timer friends who been in the game we all luv to tell war stories and its good way to break the ice ..

Clandestine breeders do that very thing,Good breeders aren't usually in it for the $, just like good dog breeders are in it for the breed
