i will say their story, background and “science” to their nutrients sounds interesting..
I’m using their 1 gallon jugs that they sell you mix in water right in the jug then measure out how many ml per gallon you want to use. They recommend using 15ml base and then 30ml of either growth or flower per gallon. I did 7.5ml of base then 15 of growth if the plants show signs of burn in a couple days I’m going to most likely cut that in half again. I just got a tds and ec tester today so when I mix the nutes next time I’m hoping to have a better understanding of what levels they’re actually getting and using.

I might try and switch nutrient brands because I have 3 more starting in some solo cups of the same strain and I will be trying out coco with those, do you have any nutrient brand recommendations that are Farley cheap but still will produce high quality buds.

What are your root temps?

I’ve had this exact problem due to cold roots, get a probe in your soil to check, day and night

Always make sure your environment is spot on before throwing nutes at a sick plant.
Raising lights will help recovery though

There cold. The outside room temp is about 68 rn and in the tent it can range from 68 with lights on and will raise to about 70 when it gets a little warmer in my basement. It sucks. I try and use a space heater then that brings the temp way to high and i will turn it off and within a half hour the temp is back down to normal, same thing if I have a furnace on as well. I have this 315 watt cmh light that I’m thinking about adding in just to help with heat. Anything I do I seem to always get some slight discoloration at the new growth lead tips even when light is 37 inches away and at 40% power. The roots are definitely cold and that is stunting my growth a little.

the roots are cold if they are continuously exposed to 50-55 degree temps..

Get yourself a heat mat, underfloor heating kits work, just sandwhich the kit between 2 bits of ply wood, there should be 2 probes, one goes in between the ply wood and one under your pot

Try and keep the roots around 23c to 26c

Get a probe in the soil and see what the temps actually are
Ok thank you. I’m about to go try and find a heater that has a thermostat and timer on it so I can try and take the chill out of my basement and hope the temp will raise in the tent. But definitely will get heating mats for when I start seeds.

My lights off temp was 20c, always had problems, once the lights off temp sat at 23 all those problems were a thing of the past

I’m 90% sure your roots are too cold

I’m an LED grower too, your issues are exactly the same as mine when I first started out with LED

What’s wrong with this first one?
The second one is relatively same EC. but the coloring I would say is more “lush” and the plant is healthier. I did the weekly routine with the fe and over loaded the healthier plant. Quickly watered it down when I saw the stress. Seems to be thriving now……the one, not so much. Anything to be concerned about or just let it ride?

Sorry kid missed that - Go ahead spray very dilute Epsom salt solution. If it greens you’re deficient in Mg. If not, go to your landscape store. A good one will carry FeSO4. If not, order a bag on amazon. It’s cheap and will last forever.
Man I'm scared to do a foliar feed, last time I did it turned my plant into a thailand ladyboy 😂 ballsacks everywhere

I had to google that to know wha it meant. I watched a video that had things looked like bananas, said just to pull them off. I’ll be honest, I don’t know what I’m doing. Just winging it till I get there. Still is a fun challenge. When I get it right ill have bragging rights.

waaayyyy down the road. I’ve been at it since august.

Can you please explain why and what is different in these feeding schedules? Grainy video but you can at least see there’s a “part 3”. It seems to be doing better for me. is there something use know about when it comes to these two charts?

Bong,

The trick to a successful foliar feed is keeping the solution very dilute. For instance with Epsom salts I might add 1/2 -1 teaspoon per 500ml spray bottle. With foliar feeding less is more. You can easily burn the leaves especially at the margins if you go too cocnetrated.

I had one set of leafs showing this exact problem. All other growth was normal. But she showed up when I bumped my lights in intensity and was working from 50-60% and she stayed like that and the burning of the edges stopped even as I kept my scheduled intensity bumps.
That probably doesn’t help much.
