What is the recommended product to use to clean the grow tents after harvest?

I would add to make sure to ventilate the room while youre doing it and after doing it if youre gonna use bleach, otherwise the fumes can linger around for days. I think its obvious but just in case. Did I mention that I hate bleach? I hate bleach. Its very effective tho.

The hydrogen peroxide I use is 5% so it comes with quite a lot of water already, I think less than a 3% solution is already quite useless. If you have strong hydrogen peroxide you can mix a bit with water but keep that 3% in mind.
EDIT: The concentration should be somewhere in the label, most likely in the ingredient list if not on the front. I bought mine in the grocery store, is the regular hydrogen peroxide for wounds.

Lol I kwim is does have a strong smell to it tbh when I have hyperk I can’t stand the smell myself
I’m uk side they changed the laws here on peroxide years ago now it’s hard to find anything bar expensive 3% bottles ok 3% will suffice but not at the price it would cost compared to a £1 bottle of bleach

Its quite cheap here, but yeah bleach is cheaper. I like the fact that its just oxygen and water and no salts will stay around even if they become harmless for the human body. If I had to use bleach, I would desinfect with bleach and after giving it some time to do its job I would clean again to get rid of the salts that the bleach leaves behind. But might be my OCD, I always hated bleach or any chemical product that my mother used to clean the house because Im asthmatic and it was worse when I was a kid and I was choking on that stuff. For most people probably using bleach wont have any short or long term effect, but its proven that people who work in the cleaning industry do get affected by those fumes.
EDIT: Also I spend quite a lot more money on dry and liquid products so spending a couple more euros to clean every 3 or 4 months is no biggie for me. Again I think bleach is totally fine unless you leave your tent closed after using it or you have respiratory problems, I just dont like it/trust it cause it has damaged me before (irritating my lungs). And honestly hydrogen peroxide gets rid of all the bad stuff anyway. A 3% solution is the minium to be called a desinfectant, 3% is another typical concentration for wounds so I guess it still dessinfects but I never seen less than 3%.

IF,

Great question. Those grow tents are bound to collect and harbor loads of spores. Especially those spore generators like powdery mildew. Treat your grow tent like a clean room.

After each grow remove everything from the tent.

Use either sodium hypochlorite or spore-klenz (https://www.sterislifesciences.com/...rilant/spor-klenz-ready-to-use-cold-sterilant) to rid the tent of spores.

H2O2 does absolute nothing to spores. Growing fungal hyphae don’t like it. But it doesn’t touch a spore.

Wipe down the walls, ceiling and floor. Make sure to throughly soak everything. Don’t skimp on the disinfecting liquid. Especially those surfaces hiding under a flap. Then after an appropriate residence time, now use the H2O2 solution and a clean rag to wipe off the bleach or spore-klenz residue.

So here's a thought. I thought that this indeed killed powdery mildew (I know it removes most of it because Ive done hydrogen peroxide baths to a moldy weed I was given years ago), it worked like a charm but the point of removing the powdery mildew, in my opinion, is to not get a spore stuck in your lungs and get pneumonia so that kinda makes it useless since its almost as unsafe, right?
EDIT: Well, excluding all the nasty staff youre able to remove which probably also has spores.

H2O2 is not a friend of actively grown fungi. But it doesn’t touch spores.

If you don’t like hypochlorite you won’t like spore-klenz. Quaternary amine - smells like vinegar.

I’ll do quick search. Spores suck. Awfully hard to get rid of. But then again, all you are trying to do is manage the spore load. Never actually get rid of them.

D-Limonene. The finest organic solvent/cleaner known to man. Lose the bleach and join the 21st century. Did I mention it dissolves the exoskeleton of arthropods? And dissolves the crap in your bong. And the crap in your skivvies?

So much good advice here.... Thank you all for your feedback. I think I'll try to find spore-klenz on Amazon. If i can't find that maybe bleach will be my next choice. Should i dilute the bleach at all or just run it straight! Again, thank you all for the feedback!
