Great to see ya back in action my friend..everyone is posturing for for the Jan 1 starting pistol to fire but with the pace of the hearings their are goin to be very few that are licensed or even qualify, it was kind of loaded that way though, they required a 30 day public posted notice before the hearing could even be scheduled which only gave a few days for applicants to get in the line to be opened by Jan 1..Annie in Central City got hers but ya know she is in the casino zone and has a liquir store attached, 2 no no's but what the hell it right up in the casino action...didn't Matt Cook come from the gaming industry??Hmmmm lol..seemed coincidental to me but im like that...A few dispensaries in Denver are already touting New Years day recreational sales so its gettin close..the warehouses are in full effect, all maxed out and new ones goin up at every available spot..most new spots have 5 or 6 dispensary owners fightin it out to get in and get goin..no one is real sure what doin away with vertical intergration is really goin to look like..got the info on the "RF" plant tags but still no definative answer on the MITS software that is goin to be required..big pain in the ass..Pueblo and Freemont county are goin nuts with greenhouse projects left and right..super nice setups....hit me up if ya come over to this side of the hill

Greenhouse is the only way. Thats my plan.

My friend went with KUBO & after seeing his greenhouse ( 30,000 square meters. ) its lights years ahead of the rest.

something to think about, Quote from Colo law

If marijuana odor is perceived to be excessive, residents can file a nuisance odor complaint with the Denver Department of Environmental Health by calling 3-1-1.

You can grow outdoors but in a enclosed and locked place? Fuck that shit. "Council members" making these calls?
I say toss them out on their heads.

Odor? pahh lease.

There are only one or two throwin down at KUBO scale here in Colorado but its coming soon enough..alot of the municipalities are just now gettin on board with large outdoor and greenhouse production and it took awhile to get stuff permitted and projects approved to move forward until early to mid this year, especially down south in the barren waste land of Otero, Pueblo, Freemont, etc..counties.there ar e afew smaller to mid size setups and a couple monsters but dutch style glass houses covering mass acreage is still a few years out. I mean you see dried up cow carcasses in fields down there, I shit you not, they are all for some new tax revenue..no dispensaries though, most of those down there are only on board for production facilities, which they see as a lower criminal risk, but no retail or new medical sales, a few down already grandfathered in, and once they start taxing the grow facilities just like a huge wholesale tax revenue stream they will cash in and that money stays in the county of production so it is goin to be a huge cash cow for them without and dispensaries at all..brilliant..lol..gotta love the wranglings of local government..lol

Thanks TK.

My friend's grow orchids ( sooo many grow tips ) in his KUBO.

Ya im in chitown. We only have 22 grow ops but the problem is landing one of the 22. The plan/funding not the issue. Mapito, KUBO, the best genetics. Still only have a 30% chance the bidding process will be nuts no matter your business plan.

Tex, I had the last dispenese in that corner of the state and it was in Otero County. The larger grows that I know of shut down after new city ordinance. There are still some large under ground grows in the La Junta City limits that I know of but everyone else I know of in that area that was large scale cut back or shut down or think they're hidden from local cops. We persuaded city council for the dispense years ago but since then they have stopped all large grows in Otero that I'm aware of and Otero has jail time sentences associated with growing in Otero, everyone I know down there is paranoid as shit. I wouldnt be surprised to find out of large grows that I'm not aware of down there in Otero. Armitich , Lead DEA in the Arkansa valley has been seen in surveillance mission quite a bit lately .

Get ready Lino, they are all gettin on board for production scale setups from there, to the east, and all the way to the New Mexico border..money has gottin stronger now and red dirt, drought conditions, and no local economy down there isn't helpin to draw other developement of any kind..they also saw the instant buildin influx and tax base that Pueblo got when they decided to allow it, I can't even tell you how many thousands of acres are currently in process or are being built out...I have been knee deep in a 1000 acre project that bordered right up to and into otero and then another 80 acre setup right in Otero county not far off the highway closer to fowler and now a 600acre compound in E.Pueblo county. Alot of those old farmers that own thousands and thousands of acres down there have a ton of pull. Most of it is all investment from up here for cheaper production and alot of outside big money investment happenin now..Freemont county opened the doors and gave them all a key to the city from what I can tell, I haven't been down there in a since the last boom build out session..its all about tax dollars now where as before they could get their hands on it..production was transfered to the dispensaries and taxed at time of sale, no matter where the opc was..in october the opc will also be taxed as a seperate entity "rumor has it" so they can capture the tax dollar locally for the production facilities..much better to have 5 or 6 giant production compounds and collect 10's of millions in tax dollars or have 100 dispensaries and still not get as much from them...we'll see how it all shakes down over the next year or so but its goin to be the wild wild west of 6 or 7 years ago all over again..hold on for the ride

I've been hearing that Pueblo has some big Grows coming and it doesnt surprise me at all to hear about a big grow by Fowler. I got good skunk smells driving around in that area. Those areas of the state are 10 degree warmer most of the time making for a little longer grow season also. It will be interesting to see what Quality will be mass produced when they 1st start, I feel greenhouse growing in Colo is the ultimate way to grow here, especially for mass production.

Figured this was coming. Didnt think it would take placthere. Makes sense when ones gives it a little thought.
@lino I too am curious to see quality standards.
Counsel has also called for random sampling of flowers in batches used for retail. All pesticide/fungicide must be listed and if anything in the media or plant are in not
listed batch can be pulled and will likely be
destroyed. Testing for levels of mold and mildew as well as bactierial contamination.
Where they plan to get the money or facilities to do the sampling will be a logistical nightmare. And make some testing company very rich. But this is going to make things difficult for many shops.
Pest/fungicdes must be listed for use on food crops with and this I feel will be changed to something more specific, unclear though.
Anything in flower for rec use will be subject to this. Med seems to be exempt, which makes no sense considering it was supposed to be for ill patients, possibly with compromised immune systems. NOT to mention what the tabacco co have been able to get away with. Sad that is the only comparison we can use here

This is gonna " crush " many growers. Just like they wanted, it to happen. More money for them thru regulation.

All the peeps trying to kill bugs ( Avid, Floramite, Forbid ) :dead: like you said bacteria being tested. Test came out bad, toss your crap in the trash no money. Then the commercials start warning about the " infected " weed on the black market. Hope everyone selling into the commercial market has clean dope or no soup for you.

I can't say to much about it maybe later but you can have a grow enclosed that prevents pest ect ...

The very large commercial growers ( orchids, tomatos ect ... ) have perfected their enviro. They are coming. And you can grow A+ outdoor/greenhouse.

I'm pretty sure medical pot is SUPPOSED to be labelled with all pesticides used...but the State (MMED) has let this all simply go unchecked...and thus.... the >shit show< has ensued and very few of the "regulations" that were put in place are being monitored.

Either way....I hope the testing/labelling/hoops they have to jump through are a major hassle for all involved. This has all been too easy so far.

One thing is for sure, I'll quit smoking before I buy retail/commercial pot.

In what way, spider? Why is it even needed when folks can grow their own?

I think they are gonna shut down the home grows in time. Once the tax dollars start flowing. They can't control that market & that market has been supplying most of the usa ( cali, wash, colo)

They gotta shut this shit down. They can't regulate the little guy, nor do they trust him. The little men are pushing shit east.
