All really depends. Love some Gil Scott Harris when I'm with the lady. If I'm with the scumbags it's usually some blackstarr or al jarreau. I'm a avid vinyl collector so to me a good smoke out goes hand in hand with some bomb jazz. Old george benson or some cal tjader if your into latin jazz. I'm a 65 yo locked in a 26yo body. Hey, if I may join in and share, hehe...
If with friends, I usually listen to whatever they put on, but if it's up to me - I would always go with Reggae... since I'm that kind of a person, who lives that kind of a life - a confusing future-related life, haha - so, Reggae helps me forget about others and gets me all introverted and helps me think, no matter if I'm high or not - it's about me...
If I'm alone - I usually meditate on some Tibetian/Indian chants and drums, so in that case - it's just whatever, though I like Jonathan Goldman, James Asher and Sivamani a lot...
Maybe, if I'm just about to relax with the girl - some Jamiroquai or some cyclic minimal to party /which almost doesn't happen, haha/...
