i have always run lights at night, easier to keep cool in the summer and more efficient to keep warm in the winter

plus the meter isnt doing a linda blair when the pg & e guy shows up

better control over temps and the ac will run more efficiently being cooler saving you $$$. I run 8pm-8am.

Buy a green light for the room to work in it during the day if you have to.

Also a great reason. Night time lights on works for both winter and summer! Heating the space when they are sleeping during the daytime will be cheaper as well.

Some electrical companies still charge more during peak time. If yours does, you might want to move it back 2 hours or so because you are hitting 2 peak times. If its prudent...
