I actually love the Boost packs. I got em in small size all the way up to gallon jars and kill it. From talking with a lot of knowledgeable folks, the bovedas Osborn terps and stuff like that. That’s just my 1 cent of advice lolSo the harvest has hung & dried, went to mason jars to cure roughly 48 hours ago. Currently burping twice Daily but curious as to when should I add a boost pack to the jars? I got the small 62% packs.
Thanks & smoke a bowl for me lol
After burping is done. Rh stable for 24 hrs at 55%rh max.
My nuggets are in the jar with the bovida packs rh is approximately 61%. Do I still need to burp these? I am a newbie so I’m not sure if I should continue to burp or just leave the buds in the sealed jars. I just trimmed and jarred on Saturday and its not smelling good at this point. I know around 62% is the optimal range but I’m not sure if I need to continue burping once I’m at that point or do I just leave the jars sealed.
The plans were drying in a closet around 50% humidity and 70° or so. They dried for about nine days and then I just put them into the jars one week ago from today. They do not have that dank smell yet. Ugh.How long did you dry it & in what conditions?

What kinda weed is it? Did it smell when it was growing? The plans were drying in a closet around 50% humidity and 70° or so. They dried for about nine days and then I just put them into the jars one week ago from today. They do not have that dank smell yet. Ugh.
I got the seeds from a friend so I’m not sure what the strain is but yes they did smell good while growingWhat kinda weed is it? Did it smell when it was growing?
You should really educate yourself before wasting so much time typing such nonsense. I see this is from a few years ago, but couldn’t help but reply to such an ignorant comment. First of all let’s just get one thing straight, you CAN do a lot of things with your cannabis, and it will likely give the same if not close to the same effect. That being said, you are preserving many volatile cannbinoids and terpenes by keeping a constant humidity of 58-62%.Never ever ever. These humipacks have no place in Cannabis storage.
When I was in the south we stored buds in Turkey bags after hanging. You know how we cured them? By leaving them in Turkey bags.
When I moved to the desert, I dry weed in Turkey bags, no hanging. And cured them in triple vaccum. Considering my success in shifting environments, I would NEVER consider using those packs. What's the point? What are you looking for? Why do you think these will help? What evidence or science is there that adding a moisture buffer sponge to the equation will help anything? Joint rollers hate dry weed.. I know that. But make it dank and sticky, not soggy and stagnant. Dont act like it's the same. That word dank probably needs to go. People buying wet weed n shit.. Good if you are a conman who never smokes with anyone. I cant smoke spongy weed and get high.
The last time I even tasted some smokable bud from a dispensary, I went back for more. Guess what? The idiots stuck a humi pack in. I bought some anyway just to add data to my knowledge base. The taste had been ruined by overnight exposure to a broveda pack.
Im really beginning to believe most people don't know what Cannabis flavor is. They are talking about smoke/burnt leaves flavor and thinking that's what organic growers are talking about with 'flavor'.
If you dont smoke traditional hash, don't vape organic buds, or don't know why' the green hit' ia truly an honor, you have completely missed the goal of growing and harvesting plants for quality. Broveda will make your weed taste like a pack of baking soda that's been in the fridge for 6 years.
Humipacks arent a curing tool, or even a bandaid. They have no purpose to anyone who understands that wet weed is only easier to roll, there is no other reason on earth you would want wet weed. These are not tires or plastic parts. Adding moisture does not improve shelf life.. I'm really certain Americans are under some spell, to buy more detrimental shit out of catalogues.
