So i'm using GO CaMg and I was wondering if there was a general consensus on how much to apply and when to stop...

going by the GO schedule they say add 5ml per watering...problem is that it's made with molasses and i'm already using roots organics trinity catalyst which is a molasses product itself and i'm not trying to overdo the molasses.

I was thinking of alternating CaMg in and out every watering...I just wanted to get the organics sections take on this...

also I heard that you should stop using Mag. towards the end of the flowering cycle because it gives a metallic taste to the finished product....and validity of this?

What about just Epson salts when you need Mag and crushed egg shell for the Ca, Old Timer turned me on to this and it seems to be working.

yea that works as well CA...the egg shells are more time released so thats good...i'm kinda wary of epsom salts though (childhood related).

you could probably stop the mag by week 4-5 and use liquid bonemeal for the ca if your going the organic route

Motherlode, would you recommend using the powdered form of bonemeal as a top dressing to native soil beds in weeks 4-5? or is that overkill and stick to liquid?

never done the bonemeal as a top dressing - long ago when Id mix my own soil I would mix it in

might not be as fast acting as the liquid - but on a 10 week strain you should see some benefit

are you feeding with liquid ferts?

Actually we did top dress with Bone-meal, High P guano,Worm castings at week 3. Good friend on here added sul-po-mag to this (just couldn't find it here) and waters through that. We copied him - the sul-po-mag, The ladies seem to love it !
