Looks like there are Still some white hairs (pistolits)? If so it should fatten up if you give it a few more weeks.

buy yourself a jewelers loop, do some research into trichombes color and terpene profile. Experiment to find what you like in a finished product. grab the bull by the horns, we can try to advise you, but ultimately you need to self validate.

They definitely tell your mate to do his own research. Without more info any answer we give will be guesswork. Each strain has slightly different blooming times, high sativa content hybrids take longer. Up to 12-14 weeks, telling us its week 8 is not entirely useful.
harvest is generally dictated by trichombes color, the sweet Spot is amber light brown, but some people like to go until dark brown. (The darker tricomb color a slight increase in couch lock high).

Agreed. Some big fat calyxs there, might just wanna wait til the seeds are mature at least.
