i use agromax pure uv. comparable with solacure. cant keep it too close, or plant with curl right up. i turn on for four hours in the middle of the light cycle to mimic the midday sun. they will sunburn you if you work under them for too long. they mimic the sun on high altitudes, or close to the equator. they help thc and thcv so far studied. cbd does not have an impact. it is an all natural stresser if you will. makes more trics to protect the seeds. i dont have the camera yet to take the pic, but the trics seem longer, and curlier. and they seem to make the strains kinda ceilingless. i havent gotten sick of smoking the summer run yet, and its april!! all just my opinion from my grow, and my expereince smoking it.

There is a commercial test online somewhere that showed adding uvb only the last two weeks of flower gave the same thc increase as running it full cycle. About 4 more percent thc than with no uv.

More good news about uvb. Not only does it stress your plant in the good way, it also is so strong, powdery mildew can't survive, and neither can mites, nymph, aphids, etc...I grow from seed, and never had bugs. But my buddy had a triangle kush cut, and I can't say no to holding such an iconic strain. Well, I've never had bugs before. Heard of mites etc...but never had to deal with them. Well, the kush was thick by the time I noticed, and researched em. Spider mites. Ding! Ding! Found it! It spread to a plant I put in the flower room for seed. So it was in the flower room too! Omg....So by now its been in the flower room for a week!! But I didn't realize my uv lights were already taking care of the problem. I scoped the plant, and there are zero bugs alive!!! Nobody is moving!!! There is a couple videos on YouTube showing spider mites dying from a uv light. It took ten minutes. All dead!! No survivors!!! I put another light in my veg room to take care of those. Will update on how those turn out. I have a feeling there is a mite massacre happening in my veg room!!

Sorry uvb does not kill pm or any pests. Uvc would. Sunlight contains uvb but uvc is shielded from earth by the atmosphere.

Sunlight carries it, but not intense enough to kill pm or mites. But uvb at this intensity kills mites. Im not here to prove it to you. I know it works. I've seen it with my own two eyes. Believe as you will. This is just my opinion from what I have seen, and researched. It works for me, and that's good enough!!

I tried out on of the "finishing" bulbs (10K, can't remember brand) and when it is running, you can sometimes catch the very faint smell of ozone, which is a sign of UV. I wouldn't say that it burned anything, but the yellowing of the leaves progressed in a few days under the 10K. I can't say if it is any stronger or different, but it def affected the leaves in the same way that sunlight would. Not blasting, but still there.

Can you please tell me how high you place the light above the canopy? Thanks in advance @shaganja

I dont know what you smelled but there is no ozone or uvc like sanitizing lamps have in the finishing bulb. Uvc is very dangerous to us and plants.

I apologize. This video isn't uvb. Thnx mimed. It's a steril bulb. I do however still claim my agromax pure uv bulbs are killing the mites on my plants. I can't deny what I see. I put my bulbs at least two foot away. Closer than 18 inches, and they cook the leaves.

Obviously it wasn't UVC, as it would burn the shit out of both me and the plant... although I have trashed plants before with an old school sun lamp, the kind with an arc tube. Sort of like a metal halide without the outer glass bulb! I think all types of UV will ionize the air to some degree, which is where the ozone comes in. I never noticed it with a std MH bulb, just the 10K ones. I'm also sort of surprised that the light isn't nearly as "blue" as I would expect. It has a little extra of something, of that I'm certain. I'm going to use it in combo with a HPS and alternate the bulbs weekly to try to get the best of both.

4% is still a huge gain (that’s numbers u stated , not me ) for how much the watt it is, in fact. I think key is still to only use the light only last 2-4 weeks on your preference and genetics. Other factor is you gotta look at even if it’s just making the buds more “ compact” or that final A+ quality vs A, WORTH It? I’m willing to play around eh ( remember you have to have your environment dialed and it’s the last thing you need to be worried about if yields or quailed is showing the opposite )

key is to use non replacement led’s that are 10 year average life vs every 6 month -1 year bulb and way more heat (if it was me,)

led I’m using (I’m on my 2nd round now)
