Given the rebuilding social unrest and racial tensions in the face of police brutality, watch Crips and Bloods: Made in America.

Absolutely fascinating! Really captures the essence of why these gangs exist, and the fuckhellbullshit law enforcement pushed on the black population of Los Angeles to create the problem as it has existed for the last 50 years.
One of the best documentaries I've ever seen

Im waaay late to the party, but I just watched Hunger Games finally and i thought it was a lil strange at first....Im not really feeling all that costume, odd, weirdness, just isnt my thing, but that movie finished real nice and was actually a refreshing surprise....i thought at one point, this may be the most original movie Ive seen in a looong time lol....anywayz.....I have weird taste, i can watch some films over and over cuz they make me happy and laugh....Napolean Dynamite, Jay and Silent Bob, Anchorman, Rush Hour series, some Jim Carrey films, and Im a sucker for a treasure hunt, especially if it has an interesting history/religious meaning/or story.....Indiana Jones series, Nick Cage in National Treasure series, and Tom Hanks in the Angels n Demons series of films amongst others., but that Hunger Games was well done and has me eager to see if the second one is any good....before that, the best movie I had seen in the theater was probably The Hurt Locker....worst probably, Thor......did they actually write that shitty script down??? haha....movies are an awesome escape and or time killer....

...btw, its not really a film, but recently saw the Charlottes Web story with all that great med work those boys in Colorado are doing with that killer greenhouse full of nothing but high cbd strains.....them boys are doing some great work there.....real medicine.....amazing story if you havent seeen it.....canna helps these people almost immediately where as no other pill med would even touch the pain or symtoms of their serious and sometimes terminal illness......and here I thought they were gonna talk negative about weed when I first started watching.....Really moved me......true proof of the powers of this amazing medicine....Be blessed all....Steel

Just finished the equalizer .. While not the most suspenseful movie ive ever seen, it was decent.. score it around a 6/10 a little drawn out but.. i had nothing better to do for 2 hours so..

...Hey lil Dabbie!!! sounds about as good as the Equalizer tv show was back in the day.....I always remember that cats name....Edward Woodward lol....both the show and movie caught my interest, but it sounds like a let down, just like the show lol.....good idea....not entirely well put together....anyways...

The Counselor was off the hook.. Seriously intense movie. If you like drug cartel type movies this is some f'd up shiznit...
Mmm.. actually, it kinda scares me. Is it like Scarface? That movie, while a classic, was extremely difficult for me. You know the scene in the bathroom? <shudder>

As far as violence and relatable sadness it's worse than scarface. Good actors and stuff though. Intense. Probably not for you. I felt fucked up for a few mins after watching.

I really appreciate the warning/heads up. There are a lot of movies I just can't watch, it's too intense for me.

Gone Girl

I don't even know what to say. Just watch it, you'll understand.
saw this in a theatre..wow crazy intense movie..did not like the ending lol..guess it was a remake of an older movie though. definite must see

Looks like this is on the chopping block next, i vaguely remember the previews for this, so heres the trailer.. Looks decent, a little confusing.. but enough i'll watch and see :D

I watched Without Limits again yesterday, the biopic about Steve Prefontaine. GREAT movie, SAD story. We are bereft.

Comin' down with a cold, it's been so many years since I've had a cold I don't remember when the last time was I had a cold, but either way, it's a movie day for me.
