I got me an Extech IR250. Bought it at Sears funny enough. I usually am not big on those guys. They had some crazy sale, where I got it 50% off. Normally only $40, a steal at $20. I have Extech scope meter that I like and have had for years, so I figured this IR temp gun couldn't be half bad. So far so good. Pull the trigger and go. It holds the temp read on the lit display. Seems to be pretty accurate, or as far as I can tell. You can see exactly which plant parts are warmer and cooler. It's interesting, some plant tops can vary by 7 or 8 degrees. I would definitely recommend it to add to your gardening tool collection.

The one they sell with the Tamisium extractor. Works great. I checked the temp of my junk.
