Good rule. I've got 8 clones from my 3 currently flowering young ladies and I've got to keep them under 14/10 LED lights in the garage. Was hoping to get them in the greenhouse by June first. If I put them out now I'm afraid they'll starting flowering...

Nice. That method does not work for me. This past Feb I put a dozen seeds of eight different tomato and pepper varieties each and got 6 plants total. I don't know why, seeds popped and put in a peat pot with strained potting soil. I have very good success just putting the seeds individually in said peat pots so I'm good. I did a half dozen of four different and got all but five, 19 of 24. Works for me.

Those are the American good groups! Maybe missing Taco Bell Burger King micky D’s!
Wrong thread but do you like getting your plants as tall as you do before flower? I’ve been meaning to asks you this for weeks, if not and you want to keep them shorter and branchlet you should try a bottle of lightning start from new mellinium.

Lol, fat food is bad for us! That’s the guest fridge it’s tainted with diabetes:)
I only drink beer and water out of there.

Ever since I started growing I’ve always grown tall plants with large canopy’s. It’s just the way I’ve done it. I’ve never had a mentor to teach me I’ve always learned from my mistakes and what I’ve read before I found this here website. And I hate leaning down to work on my plants it’s easier to see bugs to.

I understand. In my opinion,(take it with a grain of salt) i have had better quality buds when you give them room to stretch in flower. Your internode spacing will be better suited so the buds can swell without smashing together.
And with lightning start they will bush out much earlier instead of going straight up. I don’t really know what the crap is but it works well if you ever want to try it.
And now I’m high :smoking:

Yeah, I saw the Rocky Mountian soda pop, that's why I said beer. You know, Brown Ale (Newcastle), Mother's Milk (Guinness), Stone IPA or any other real beer.

There is actually truth to your claim. It is well known that plants play chemical warfare and compete for space. When they don't feel they have to compete for space the stress levels are lower and all the energy is expended on growing fat tight colas. The term is call Alleopathy

I know ;) every bit of knowledge I post comes from my grow.
If you want to get the most out of your plants you have to treat them like athletes to the highest level of competition. I prefer to think of them as cage fighters, gotta be in tip top shape to make it in the grow. Second pic shows how the whole plant is forcing its way up stretching the net.

I can’t stand tents! I hate mine, I would rather walk into a room through a door. I’m in and out of the veg room 3-4 times a day and the whole zipper crap is annoying. Then the tray takes up the whole tent so I have to reach all the way across to water the plants on the far end.

If your renting then you have to do what you have to do, but if you own your house I would just build a room. In fact I am. I put my tent in my 3rd car garage and it’s only right a couple months in the spring and fall. Summer too hit winter to cold. So I’m building an insulated room with a DOOR! Not a zipper ha! Tents can be great for drying though.
