Nice. That method does not work for me. This past Feb I put a dozen seeds of eight different tomato and pepper varieties each and got 6 plants total. I don't know why, seeds popped and put in a peat pot with strained potting soil. I have very good success just putting the seeds individually in said peat pots so I'm good. I did a half dozen of four different and got all but five, 19 of 24. Works for me.

From my past experiences with peppers, it's always seemed to me that they abhor peat.

I have no issues with peat pots and have popped in the past few day several different peppers and tomatoes but the paper towel method is a no go for me. Maybe I'm not gentle enough but the last time I tried it I cut out each seedling, and no I didn't cut through the root, and laid paper and all on top of the soil and covered. Only got a few. No worries, just putting seeds in pots work well for me.

She looks like she can cut you very serrated edge. Beautiful plant and you have wonderful dogs.
