I start popping end of March, maybe later this year. Unless major, warm weather change moves in.

I've got some regs coming, so I might start earlier so I can sex them before putting them in ground Or maybe just put them in pots outside and weed out the males once they show.

I'd hate to waste the space and time in the garden, when there could be a established female in its place.

I expanded the garden some from last year, in anticipation for more plants. Depending on their possible matured growth size, and for the size of my grow space and lighting conditions, I might be able to fit 5 plants in the garden, 4 comfortably for sure. Then I have 2 big plastic pots (20-30 gal) I can use for a couple regs to grow in, and place somewhere in my yard.

Planning is the hardest part, for me.
I'm kinda anal about planning my work and working the plan. Then plan for the worst scenario to happen, and how to confront it.

Back-up for the back-up, back-up.
Translation...Hoyels rule, Murphy's law, and that Chinese guy all wrapped up in one. God favors the prepared. 🤣🤣

My biggest problem is buying way more seeds than I can grow. "I wanta grow that... I need to grow this for yield... oh, gotta grow one of them... etc.". Now I gotta actually choose 12 from 17 strains, and how many of each.
I just last year tried a couple in tent for outdoor. Looking about first full week of April for me this year to do the same again. Hell of a difference.
I MUST grow bigger and better than I have before! The only way to achieve that is to make mistakes, learn, and better prepare the growing environment. Lets go Spring!

I'm just starting on collecting seeds, soon as I get my order in I'll have enough for a couple years of feminized seed Then there's the pollen I was given, for reg seed production. And I still have bag seeds from the 80s that may be viable still, but doubt it. But hey...we can just give them away or trade them for others, right.

Every time I start something to grow in my yard the helicopter flies over in September so have to pull them before they come to my house, I even have a 6 foot closed fence around my yard that you can't see threw and the law told me if they can see them from the air im growing illegal, I do good growing in my basement so that's what I do but would like to grow a big one outside with some meges og i got along with some skunk from cope seeds i think that's the name, my wife grows a lot of flowers and has been wanting a green house so maybe I will buy one so I can make some crosses using the cap junky as the mother and hit it with the meges og to have something different.

You in Ohio? From my understanding of the law here... Legal grows not seen from public is referenced from side views, not from above. A legal greenhouse is having sides taller than the plants and CAN have an open roof. Sides of the greenhouse can be anything blocking view and ability to be locked. .... I use 6 ft privacy screen wrapped over steel mesh, and live next to a highway. All open top with an ex police chief for a neighbor! Helicopters shouldn't be bothering you if legal amount.

Yes im from Ohio and the chief of police told me that last year they was going to give warnings to people, but this year they will be making arrests for plants they can see from above in helicopter.
I live in perry county a big grow area around here so I will just do what I was told, don't want them coming in nosing around.
I read the same thing as long as you can't see it from road and locked in behind a fence that you can't see threw is legal and he told me the man flying the helicopter said if he can see it they will arrests people this year.

I'd contact your DA.or Sheriff's office. The chief is full of shit.

Hand him a set of the laws, ask him to read them to u. Did u find anything pertaining to airial view.
Then let him know that any trespassing or confiscation of property there in by him, will see him in court..
I'm not totally legal by Ohio standards It states it must be in a enclosed area not obtainable or seen by public. Greenhouse, shed, garage, chain link cage, and lockable. Mine are totally out of view, for most parts, but no cage.

Property is enclosed on 3 sides besides the frontage (drive way)
And I put up a fence of pole beans to cover them from being viewed by the road. My neighbors plants are in full view for all to see, even the cops that drive by daily see them....no problems, no complaints, no threats.

U gotta dirty cop, that doesn't like the laws we voted for, is what u have. Turn the table on him, cover your ass. Post your property with no trespassing signs, it goes a long way if ya got to go to court.
