im curious as to how indole3butyric acid (a plant hormone and the active ingredient in clonex) which is part the auxin family (a class of plant hormones or pgr's) isnt considered the very thing it is ,according to the us epaI don't consider "Clonex" to be a PGR. Nor does the USA EPA. It's also certified for use in Colorado and Washington on medical cannabis. There's nothing to worry about with clonex rooting gel.
Clone away ... healthy clones rock. It's not a race so if its rooted in 3 days or 10 days ... it doesn't really matter.
also a thicker bigger branch will generally root quicker than compared to a small thin branch..Is making clones supposed to be...hard? Everyone has thier own method, I don't think how fast they root really proves much honestly, could be cause of method, environment, or genetics. I personally prefer seeds because they have a more robust root system, which I need outside.

Well I grew a 30 ouncer last year trapped in a buried 7 gallon fabric... so 20 should do the trick lol.I agree with this 100% for outdoor growing because clones don't have a taproot like seeds do. Im taking clones from my gsc and turning the seed plant into my outdoor plant. Going to give her a hole big enough for 20 gallons of soil and hope thats enough lol.
Wow thats crazy, i had 7 gallon pots last year, not buried but i didnt even pull a total of 4 ounces 🤣🤣🤣 its so much work to grow photos here, but i want to smoke some of this "amazing sun grown weed" ive never gotten my hands on, and i feel like i have to do it myself in order to accomplish that lol.Well I grew a 30 ouncer last year trapped in a buried 7 gallon fabric... so 20 should do the trick lol.
I have had the opposite happen many times. I am not 100 percent sure what causes some to root faster than others.also a thicker bigger branch will generally root quicker than compared to a small thin branch..

I think it's a fine line, too thick and woody they take forever or never root, like I late topped and made clones from the tops 2 years ago and they were super thick and it took like 2 weeks plus. Too thin and they're just weak. Gotta find the sweet spot.mmmm ya who knows
Tops are better for production. They already have more side branching and they will always be the best clones. If you have something over about 1/8" in diameter you can try to shave off some of the wood like material on the last 1/2" of the stem to aid in rooting. I would run nothing but tops if I could. I have even made Mini Moms to create more tops.I think it's a fine line, too thick and woody they take forever or never root, like I late topped and made clones from the tops 2 years ago and they were super thick and it took like 2 weeks plus. For sure, I gave one of mine to a buddy cause I didn't need it and that fucker was almost the size of it's mama. I don't usually clone anymore, just wanted to make sure I still knew how lol. I learned from an og and that method is probably obsolete by today's standards, but it works. Used to have swamp monster mamas back in the early 2000s and they'd root in 3-5 days religiously at near 100%...but swamp, the real swamp monster, three leaf beast plant, was a ridiculously vigorous grower, so that helped I'm sure. I wish I had pics of those beauties... but we didn't want evidence back then lol. Actually I wish I had that Swamp mama, fuck the pics. 🤣Tops are better for production. Just put your dick back in your pants and show us what you are talking about. Not trying to be a dick but you came out of the gate pretty arrogant and you didn't back up your claim. Most of us have a fairly decent idea as to how to clone. You claim to have a better way that will yield great roots quick.Dude. It's gonna probably just get me banned or laughed at for helping you. Dm me. This world has changed into a better place,
