Window Ac That Doesn't Allow Light Penetration.

Hoping someone can help me with a issue. I'm looking for a new window ac unit that doesn't allow light in. Seems like all the new one's have styrafoam on the inside for intake or exhaust. I realize I can try to pant with black plastic paint or build a box around the unit on the outside. Ideally I just want to buy a unit for plug and play. Knowledge is appreciated.

There isn't one lol, your going to have to take it apart and mod it. Silver hvac tape is your friend lol.

Just take it apart, it's not that hard. Mabe you can put a triple layer of that shade netting one the outside of the unit, I donno

If u get a through the wall one with a sleeve they are light proof

I have always just popped of the top grill and sprayed the white insulation with black matte spray paint. Problem solved!
