so i popped this very nice bag seed of some fire sweet island skunk that i scored a while back . it was looking real promising in veg until i saw this. 18/6 light,organic soil,no stress,just love!what the hell is goin' on with her? thanks for any help in this

I just had the author of the High times cookbook tell me to try this strain, So its most likely pretty good ;).

Since its bag seed Im going to see you got a ruderalis/skunk hybrid on your hands! I would keep the bad boy (Try and get more seeds out of it because you cant clone her if she is an autoflower!).

You didnt happen to hit the plant with a bunch of bloom or screw up your timers and not notice did you? Because those could also bring about flowering

P.S. On the subject of "Mutated" leafs R.C.C. In Marijauna botany rights that there are ~30 types of leaf that the plant can exhibit for any such reason and they arnt necessarily a mutation.

I would think perhaps shes an autoflower too. Are there other plants growing in the same environment as it? If they're all growing normally, then it's indicative of the 'problem' being with the plant, rather than some external factor, unless it's a strain particularly sensitive to changes in its environments (such as a light leak).

looked for this thread for quite some time
look at what I got!lol

this is a definite mutation that didn't have a chance. the flag pole was crudely split with scissors. if you look at the cotyledon you will see it tried to bust open with a pair of something. but after two months of no root growth its starting to eat itself from the bottom up roots first i think.

yo 420 i had the same thing happen about a year or 2 ago n i had no light leaks no stress everything was happy in the veg room
i talked 2 my buddy at the local grow shop n the only thing we came up with was that sometimes plants r funny n they just wanna do what they wanna do so we just gotta give them love n hope 4 the best.I remember a while back i had this plant we named pauly this plant was at least 7ft. had it in the flower room the damn thing never flowered i had it in there for 6wks n nothin so i took it out n had it in the den we whatched the superbowl with good ol pauly what a weird thing,plants just do what they wanna do sometimes,I would just flower her out,goodluck 420 on your lil adventure PEACE...PHILLY KUSH. When i get a chance I'll post some pix from the veg room i have some plants with 1 &2 leaf fan leaves

Hey Chobble you are right about the branching character.
I'm curious about the fact that one branch is stuck to the stem of the fan leaf.

This pic dead center to the left you see the branch extend as normal where as on the right the branch is a mere inch or two long and stuck.

BTW I culled that one.
I have to up my standards on what stays in the grow. I'll keep some WTF'ery for the sake of gaining knowledge.
But if it ain't going/growing in the right direction it's out of my garden.

Does this site have a lounge?
I ask because I would like to know if there is anyone with knowledge of who's who in the breeder game? ie subcool might be subcool on every board. This is mainly for auction breeders, private chuckers or what have you. I know the list could go on for days so if you don't mind and know of a link point it out please.
