Hi! I have the se3000 300 watt. It has 8 reds dio do I need the extra red bars for flower. It said on box 660 far red? Thanks love your stuff. Digital light dial would be so much better. Dial jumps up or down with just a touch. But still great.

I'm growing Seedsman Strawberry Banana Grape. Currently the two ladies are in a tent with an Auto in NY. They are on a 20 hr light, around 50 DLI the three of them, and when the auto comes to term (late July), I'll slowly bring the two SBGs outside. Sunlight in the outside will only be 15 hours... will that trigger them to flower?

I have an idea for side lighting using two horizonal c-shape light bars ( ) . Connecting and adjusting
around the center. Another benefit of this suspended frame would be having holes or a rail for trellis wires so you get trellis and side lighting suspended from the ceiling. Solid panel quantum boards would block the support but not bar lights. Any thoughts?

Your idea of using C-shaped light bars for side lighting sounds excellent! The flexibility of bar lights compared to solid panels, along with trellis support from the ceiling, is smart. It allows better light distribution and plant support. How do you plan to adjust the light placement and height as the plants grow? Will the frame structure be flexible enough for different plant sizes?
