Cap,
I'm a new farmer turning to your teas in an effort to save my girls. I was running CC nutes and UC roots but 5 of 6 had rot. The plants had no growth and everything turned lime green.
These girls were 3 months old being fed weekly tea brew before going into the UC ( 6x 8 gal.). If a plant is fed bacteria for 3 months and then put into a sterile system could that be an issue.

Unicorns
It mentions Steinernema feltiae as a way of killing the larva.

The one plant that continued to grow and stay green went from having 7 point leaves to 5.
The roots on this plant also had brown slim roots and a big chunk fell off the other day.

You will have to sterilize everything first, and then reintroduce tea at 1:100 tea:nute solution once a week when you change your res out. PM me and we can go in to more detail, and I can try pointing you in the right direction.

i,m very interested in using the 5.5 net pots with cocoa then dropping into the 8" then into the undercurrent to capitilize on the bio through crown feeding.i,m consitantly having issues with my crown a few wks into flower(65' sterile) ..i know you are or were using this techinque.also are you using the 2 cups to 5 gallons into the active system? when its refilled and also adding it to the res? thanks cap

I used 50/50 coco hydroton in my net pots . No big rockwool block as I got a lot of crown rot using the wool in my RDWC system. I no longer run RDWC I switched everything to straight chow mix (70/30 coco hydroton or perlite), top feed DTW.
