    Trolmaster Hydro X Pro Controller

Hey there, everyone. Happy holidaze! I will probably be going with the Trolmaster Hydro-X Pro controller for a new personal build. Does anyone out there have any experience with the Pro unit? I would appreciate any available feedback to haver a better idea of what to expect and prepare for...

HPS light superior vs current led tech?

I've been enjoying this discussion and will chime in briefly despite good points mentioned by most. Been at this for over 35 years. We recently finished an 8 month test to figure out if our expansion will be fully LED. Tested many expensive units, and for the last 3 months of the test we also...

    Illumitex Es2 Vs Gavita De

They seem to know growing in greenhouses with supplemental lighting. I am less convinced now that they're as effective for controlled indoor growing. All Gavita setups I've seen are so far away from the canopy, so much wasted light. But sure seems like a good deal for them since they end up...

    Illumitex Es2 Vs Gavita De

I got a peek at an operation testing out these ES2'S. They were doing a side by side with magnum type air-cooled 1000's. Those 1000's looked way better than these Gavitas and looked about the same as the ones under the ES2'S. How are these Gavitas considered industry standard? Is it just the...

    Illumitex Es2 Vs Gavita De

Just came across this video and couldn't find any discussion about it when I searched: For the first time I see LED as an option at all. The way this is set up its like 6 of the ES2's for every HPS so the initial price difference is crazy. But if this video is true, at least they're matching...

    flushing debate.

Mother nature doesn't. Along with lots of other stuff mother nature doesn't do... Like supersaturating the soil surrounding each plant with highly targeted, high quality and highly available nutrients - then ensuring constant and consistent delivery with a watering schedule :)

    flushing debate.

According to cigar aficionados, the white ash is due to high Mag content. So we should be careful assuming flushing alone leads to "clean", white ash. Or that white ash is "clean". I believe the texture (light n fluffy when done), taste and burning qualities (no fireworks) may be better gauges...

The bubble flush aka emergency flush

So I tried this. Sort of. Same room, same genetics. One plant was cut cleanly at the base and stuck into a bucket of pH'd water with an airstone and an aquarium pump. The other remained in it's bucket next to it and was also only receiving pH'd water. Results were inconclusive because I...

    peanut fingers

Olive oil is hands down the best way (imho) to clean ikystiky hands. I used to make finger hash but had enough of dead skin cell, sweat and pore-crud flavored hash. Gloves if you wanna keep it, Olive Oil - then soap if you wanna flush it.

    How do YOU harvest?

I only noticed these showers the one time I had PM. Don't see it anymore since I stopped accepting "gift" cuts from everyone and their mothers. No more bugs either :character0029: Funny that. Lol. It also may be that I don't let it dry to dust before I start at the sugar leaves. I've...

Did you mean H2O2 or are you adding nitric oxide? If so, can you please explain/elaborate? Thanks!

Cloning a flowering plant (late flower)

The process should be pretty much the same.. Just takes longer and looks stranger ;) I take lower branches with underdeveloped buds as cuts taken from the lower part of plant tend to root faster anyways. Stick them in my home made cloner with a bit of superthrive and have roots in about a...

The bubble flush aka emergency flush

No worries. I appreciate all constructive discussion. But I'm sure someone running multiple strains off one res could be excited about only flushing plants that are ripe and ready while letting the rest continue on their merry way... Just have a bubble-flush bucket or two that moves around the...

The bubble flush aka emergency flush

Hey gang. I am wondering if any/many of you out there have tried this "emergency" flush method: -Cut ripe plant where it meets the soil/medium with little or no flushing done -Stick the plant into a bucket of clean pH'd water (or even distilled water) -bubble the hell out of it (so you...

    Sucanat & h2o???

Provide some info on the total amount of H2O in your system. Also the medium used and the amount of and concentration of H2O2 being used. While I don't know I could give you a concrete answer - I feel like a balance could be kept b/w H2O2 and microorganisms, but more as an art than scientz...
