Ya bro, watch it though the years get behind you real fast. You got to grab that bull by the horns and ride the fucker. I learned a long time ago, if you want it you got to get it.

Here that, I sold my 2 story 1800 sqft house on 1/8 acre for a 1500 sqft house on 2-1/4 acre. Think I’m having my mid life deal. All my buds bought Harley’s I got thisView attachment 813676much happier now though. Escaping the rat race was the cure. Still got to work in it though.

Yeah I'm still going to school for electronics engineering so I want to still do my main gig in semiconductors, I was building plasma reactors for intel and samsung tools all last year and worked myself out. been taking it easier this year for sure. but thats whats going to buy me all that. I have a good deal now but I made way too much money my first year in a cleanroom to not go to school for it. so I started back up for a simple cert so I can make double. :ninja::fire:

You work at Intel here in Oregon? One of my first jobs was cleaning the fabs at the Aloha location back in 1987

I worked for Lam research, everyone makes their chips on our tools lol. all of samsung's new memory is made on our tools for 64 layer v-nand solid state memory/drives. also a lot of electrofill for intel.

I started as an assembler, then promoted to cleanroom instructor then manufacturing engineer.

Im still a young guy too but i wasnt waitin around to live the life i want...time goes by too quick just like ya sed. No regrets!
You did the right thing. Seems like yesterday I was in HS, but that's been 40 years ago. You have to work and be consistent. It's there for anyone who is able and willing. Everything's paid for, and that's how I want it to stay. No payments.
